It's a beautiful, Sunny
day, here in central Pennsylvania with temperatures up into the low 70s..
Much more if this and I'll have to shut down the coal stoker furnace..
Believe me, that's just fine with me. I wasn't sure if I'd have to order
another load of coal or not before summer got here... We're getting really low
and we may still have to if the weather takes a change for the worse..
I know I can't tell anymore from one day to the next what the heck the weather
will be. Another thing, I just can't remember every having a more windy Winter
and Spring than we've had this year... I've picked up more limbs in the
yard than I care to remember! Oh
well, hopefully maybe the weather is turning and will stay nice for awhile..
We can sure use some good weather for awhile.

I've got yet another "bone to pick" with our government. I'm not sure if
it's local, state, or national, but I think it's all of them together and
probably mainly the feds.
Now, I saw on the news a day or so ago that the government had passed a law
that the "morning after" pills are to be made available to girls under 16
WITHOUT their parent's knowledge.. Geez... I starting to think that moms
and dads don't have a chance at raising their children with any kind of
respect or morals at all...
This is far from the beginning... The government wants the parents to be
responsible for everything their children do, but they have just about taken
all the "control" from the parents to raise their children properly... Heck,
the parents aren't even allow to "yell" at the kids anymore or the schools
have instructed the children to call 911 and report "mental abuse" and they
will send someone right to their house to "take care" of good old mom and
dad!!! Do you believe that???
However, should the child be out past curfew, involved in any kind of
community mayhem, etc., who do think is the first person they are going to go
after for damages, etc.. Also, I've read that in many communities the
parents can be sent off to jail for trouble that their kids get into..
You can't punish them for misbehaving, etc.. You cannot teach them that if
they do wrong they must "face the music," but you ARE responsible for their
actions.... Sounds "par for the course" for what the government would
come up with, doesn't it.
Back to the young children, the girls under 16 years of age that can now get
the "morning after" pills without mom or dad being consulted or even told
about.
The last time I read about this sort of "deal", if a young man has sex with
any girl under the age of 16 he can, and probably will go to jail. Not only
that but he will be "tagged" a "child molester," and be listed as such for the
rest of his life.
Now with that in mind, the government is supplying pills to these young
girls... Did I miss something here?
Heck, as far as I'm concerned, this is even worse that the schools giving out
condoms.
These kinds of laws are typical for the idiots we have making laws for us
laymen. Yes, aren't we lucky to have such "brains" taking care of us?
You know, truly, if you have a different opinion or you see something that I
missed, I would appreciate it if you dropped me an email..

Even though the price of oil has been fluctuating between $45 and $52 all of
March and April, the cost of gasoline continues to rise... Hmmmmm,
another puzzle... They will not be satisfied until they are making
outrages quarterly profits as they have been for the past few years...
So there's really not much to say about this other than we all better get used
to bending over again when we get gasoline at the pumps...
I take notice that Ford is pushing all of their big vehicles like the SUVs,
big pickups etc... I think those kinds of vehicles is what got them in
the trouble that they're in now. You would think they would be pushing
some more economical models, etc.. Unless they are just trying to dump
the stock they have now... They'd sure better get rid of them before the
gas goes back up to where it was....

Freddie Mac Executive Hangs Self......
Yes, it's a shame but someone has lost their life over the Freddie Mac
fiasco.. David Kellermann, the acting chief financial officer of the
government-sponsored mortgage lender, was found in his home after his wife
alerted Fair fax Conty Police to his suicide, reports WUSA.
Kellermann worked for Freddie Mac for the past 16 years, starting out as a
financial analyst and auditor. He was named acting chief financial officer
last September when the government ousted former CEO Richard Syron and
Kellermann's predecessor Anthony S. "Buddy" Pizel. Neighbors said Kellermann,
41, had lost a noticeable amount of weight under the strain of the new job.
Some neighbors said they suggested to Kellermann he should quit to avoid the
stress, but Kellermann responded that he wanted to help the company through
its problems. The neighbors did not want to be quoted by name because they
didn't want to upset the family. As the company's financial chief, Kellermann
was working on the company's first quarter financial report, due at the end of
May, with federal regulators closely overseeing the company's books and
signing off on major decisions.
Seems like the guy lived in a home worth $900,000 and was up to receive
retention awards, (bonuses,) totaling $850,000 over the next year....
I'm sure the older guys in the company has done a heck of a lot more than this
guy has done that they should not be proud of, but this guy is paying the
price. All I can say is that he must have done something wrong, that really
bothered him to the point to take his own life. This whole mess is not over
yet.. I hope that people realize that their lives are not worth any kind
of money though...
****************************************
I had a prospect email me today to ask which of my programs, (businesses),
would be best for them if they wanted to pull down a $1,000 or $2,000 a
month... The best one I have right now that will get you there the
fastest is Liberty Health International... Besides that, if someone is
new at home buisness this is also the best one as we have an unbelievable
support group that not only helps us to get our businesses into profit but
they even place associates into our downlines! Now you just can't beat that
for a support group. I've been in these types of businesses for years,
and I've never seen one that is as supportive as this one.. Not only the
support group, but also the company really has many, many ways to help us
build our business with them, not the least is at least 6 specialized internet
sites that are established in our own names... (Also, the company is not a
newbie but has been in business for 8 years! It's well established and
certainly "out of the woods." Have a look at the products and the pay plan
here: Liberty Health
International

Hopefully we're going to have a GREAT weekend here along the mighty
Susquehanna River, that flows through our back yard. As it's supposed to go up
into the low 80s, I figure that
we're going to have a lot of boats out on the river going up and down, and it
wouldn't surprise me that I get some decent pictures and we get a few cfanoe
trips down the river... Maybe I'll be able to put up a few pictures here
next week.
*****************************************
In the meantime it's getting late here so I'm going to wrap it up and
YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!
(I'll see you right back here just as soon as I can!
Okay?)

Here's The Cool, Unusual Fact For Today...
George Washington had to borrow 500 pounds to pay off his debts and another
100 pounds for the expenses of the trip to his inauguration in New York, in
1789. Washington, one of the richest men of his time, was "land-poor." He
borrowed the money from Richard Conway of Alexandria, Virginia, and said that
"short crops and other causes not entirely within my control" were the
reasons! (This was back when people worked for 3 cents a day. Back then 100
British pounds would have been worth about $800.00 converted to Colonial
money!)

Happy TAX Day!
To those of you who don't
have your own income tax software. As long as you don't have any kind of
business, small or otherwise, you can go online at the TurboTax site and do
your taxes online for nothing! My daughter-in-law uses that one and she likes
it!
Have a GREAT tax day.
Those of you who are in AARP can use the AARP site to get help with your
taxes.. You can get an answer to just one question if that's all you
need and are in a hurry.
I took my taxes to the post office last night. I finally got them done again
with the Turbo Tax Software.. I must buy my software as I have a home
business and need to do the darn Schedule C form.
To be honest, I think I had some defective software this time.. I've never had
any problems with this software before, (The last 3 Years,) but this time I
spent an hour putting some information in as far as expenses go and at the end
it said, "Let's see what we have so far." I pressed that option and all of my
expenses where gone except for two items!
I did them over again but when I printed all of my tax documents, it printed
out two different schedule C forms???? As the price of this software
goes up every year, you would think it would be at least as effective as it
was the year before... I hate to switch software as I'll have to spend time
setting it all up again, but next year, I think I will... I just expect
more for $79.95 for software that's only good for one time use! I just
can't imagine going through this again and now I'm starting to worry if all
else was okay with my filing... I sure hope so....
Also, I downloaded and installed Microsoft's Internet Explorer 8 browser and
it just locks up my system... The Turbo Tax Software is tied into the MS
Explorer and I wonder if that may have been my problem... Who knows... I
really think Microsoft is getting worse and worse with it's software... I
don't think I'll ever buy their office package again as I can get one that's
quite similar to it for FREE just by downloading if from the WEB... I
even like this software better!!! I know it doesn't have as many
bugs as the XP MS Office does... It's called Star Office and can be found
here: Star Office It's put out by
Google and it's absolutely FREE.. Another FREE office suite is called
Open Office and is available here:
Open Office This office suite is FREE also, and it will even open
Microsoft Office documents!!! Why pay for something when you can get
something better for FREE?
Download one or both today and see which one you like....
****************************************
I ran into some more information this morning that really riles me so I
thought I put it up here and see what you think of it..
Apparently when we were taught as kids that money and power don't buy
everything we were lied to!
Here's yet another "dirty page" from our governments secret diary.
President Obama's aunt that is actually an illegal alien that was given a
"removal order" issued by Judge Shapiro on October 15, 2004, (that's 5 years
ago!!) that she has just, plain defied. Despite her defiance of the government
"removal order" the government's been pouring out taxpayer bucks to make her
as comfortable as possible! In addition to being in the country illegally for
all these years, she's been fraudulently living in public housing, which is an
outrage! Clearly President Obama knows all about it and he's part of the
fraud. Zeituni Onyango, who is seeking political asylum has just been at a
hearing that turned into quite a "cloak and dagger? operation to spirit
Onyango unseen into a courtroom at the John F. Kennedy Building, for her April
1st closed door immigration hearing. With military-style precision and
planning, four burly, gun-wielding $60,000 a year federal guards coordinated
the 56 year old Kenyan citizen's every move. And incredibly, a government
official traveled nearly 400 miles from Washington to handle damage control
over the scandal that has outraged Americans of every political stripe.
Meanwhile, Onyango herself appeared to try and downplay her court appearance.
"Disguised" in dark glasses, a long herringbone coat and a curly, rust-colored
wig, the President's relative was ushered into the small legal chamber.
The bizarre getup prompted one observer to note, "if she's got nothing to
hide, then why's she trying to mask her identity?"
A mere 15 minutes after the proceeding began, Onyango left the Boston hearing,
smiled triumphantly under a portrait of Obama outside the court room and
exclaimed, "Praise God!" Apparently Federal immigration Judge Leonard I.
Shapiro had agreed to continue Onyango's controversial case until Feb. 4,
2010, in a move that astonished immigration experts and regular citizens
across the nation!
Onyango absolutely knew the fix was in!
Obama's aunt has been living in taxpayer-subsidized government housing on the
south side of Boston. Plus, she was treated like a rock star when she showed
up with a $400 per person ticket and high powered attorney Margaret Wong at an
Inaugural Ball at Washington's Mayflower Hotel on Jan. 20.
After the hearing, as she was whisked into the elevator of the third floor of
the JFK Building, a reporter asked, "Is your nephew, the President, helping
you in your immigration case?" She just smiled broadly. During the brief
meeting, the Federal Protective Services guys were talking into their shoulder
speakers to each other and headquarters about the plan for securing the area
for the President's aunt.
The entire spectacle is further proof of presidential interference. It's
outrageous that she was guarded by Homeland Security police and looked after
by the Justice Department. (Wow, the Justice Department, what an appropriate
name for this operation! Geez.... Chuck)
The government obviously rolled out the red carpet for the President's aunt.
This woman is a "Poster Child" for what's wrong with the immigration system of
this country.
The only thing she should get is a coach ticket back to Kenya!

That's it for this short post for today, and
YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!
(I'll see you right back here just as soon as I can!
Okay?)

Every year, dirt costs the United States $4.9 billion. That is the estimate by

It was a beautiful Sunday
here today in Central Pennsylvania and better yet, Easter Sunday! Boy I
couldn't have ordered a nicer day. The sun was out without a cloud in the sky
and the temps went up to the low 50s. It wasn't extremely warm, but the sun
and clear sky made up for that. Actually, even though gasoline went up a
few cents on Thursday and Friday around here, it still wasn't that bad for a
holiday.
****************************************
As gasoline has been rising the last couple of weeks I did a bit of searching
the WEB to find out why or at least what people in general felt the reason
was.
"The average U.S. retail gasoline price rose about 10
cents a gallon over the past three weeks due to environmental costs linked to
warmer weather, though the price was 40 percent lower than a year earlier,
according to the Lundberg survey released on Sunday.
The average national price for self-serve regular unleaded gasoline was $2.048
a gallon on April 10, up 9.58 cents from March 20, according to the survey of
gas stations.
The price was a whopping $1.27 below a year ago levels, when crude oil prices
soared.
"The major cause of the rise of nearly a dime in three weeks is seasonal
gasoline demand, not only because our consumption rises month by month, but
because of the cost of environmental compliance," Survey editor Trilby
Lundberg said in an interview.
As the weather warms, refiners are required to limit vapor pressure in order
to avoid smog production. This adds to the cost per gallon, she said.
"It's already kicking in this month in some parts of the country," she said.
The cost of crude oil has remained fairly constant over the past three weeks,
Lundberg said.
The lower gas prices could spur demand, which is likely to result in a rise in
prices, but nowhere near the record $4.112 per gallon set on July 11, 2008,
"unless there's a crude oil shock, and that does not seem likely either," she
said.
The lowest price per gallon was in Newark, New Jersey, at $1.83, while
Anchorage, Alaska, saw the highest at $2.40 per gallon. Los Angeles, the
biggest U.S. market for gasoline, had an average price of $2.32 per gallon.
The nationwide Lundberg survey polls about
5,000 gas stations in U.S. metropolitan areas."
That seems to be the official reason.. To me it was just a build up in
prices for the holiday.. I've never seen a holiday come yet, in the past
several years, that the oil companies haven't taken advantage of, to increase
the prices on us.
I'm anxious, now that the holiday is over, over the next couple of weeks, to
see what happens to our gasoline prices. As you can see if you check
my oil and gasoline page up in the left hand
corner of this page once in awhile, the price of crude oil over the last few
weeks has stayed around the same price, so it sure had nothing to do with the
rise in cost of crude oil. Prices, around here can still be found a hair below
the $2 a gallon mark, and for that, I'm thankful.
***************************************
Someone took the time to put this information together and I thought you may
get a kick out of it, or, I don't know, maybe teed off!
Read on down and see if you can guess which one it really is.......
Is It NBA Or NFL?
36 Have been accused of spousal abuse
7 Have been arrested for fraud
19 Have been accused of writing bad checks
117 Have directly or indirectly Bankrupted at least 2 businesses
3 Have done time for assault
71, Repeat
71 cannot Get a credit card due to bad credit
14 Have been arrested on drug-related charges
8 Have been arrested for shoplifting
21 Currently Are defendants in lawsuits, and
84 Have been arrested for drunk driving In The last year Can You guess which
organization this is?
Give Up yet? . . Read down,

Neither, it's the 435 members of the United States Congress The Same group of
Idiots that crank out Hundreds of new laws each year Designed to keep the rest
of us in line.
.........
If you've read this blog for any length of time, you know what my favorite
"cure" is for the mess down there in Washington and I think it still runs true
in this case.
FIRE THE WHOLE BUNCH OF THEM AND HIRE ALL NEW CONGRESSMEN &
WOMEN!!!!
Once they see, that we will not put up with all the crap they dish out, maybe
they will think twice before they pull the rotten, filthy, crazy stuff they do
and keep their minds on the job, and handle our money like it's supposed to be
handled! They are a wasteful bunch and apparently according to the
above, even worse than that!!!
*****************************************
Did you see the "Parade" Section of the Sunday newspaper? It tells what a lot
of different folks make in a year. Like Mark Chandler, 53, is a Library
messenger from Ind. and he makes $19,700. Then there's Alex Rodriguez, 33 a
baseball player from N.Y. that earns $34 million dollars!!! Oh, then
there's John Benes, 35, from Texas and he earns $39,300 a year, and Alvaro de
Molia, 51, CEO, GMAC of N.C. who pulls down $11.6 million!!!
Oh, and this one, Jay-Z, 39, from N.Y. who's a Rapper that earns $82 million
dollars but Alan Salmon, 53, from Okla. who is a Forensic video analyst that
earns $64,000.. Are you seeing the trend here? -------- Looks like
if you are a "REAL" person, who does a "REAL" job, you really don't earn that
much, but if you are a Sports person who goes out and has some fun, playing a
game, or a VERY hard working Actress or Actor, or are a singer, you make more
than you actually should as I just can't see how a lot of these folks are
worth all that money. But then, that's only my opinion... What's yours?
Oh, incidentally, Rush Limbaugh, 58 years old from Palm Beach, Fla., earns 38
million a year and Tyler Perry, 39 years old, who is an Actor/director earns
$125 million!!!! Unbelievable!!!!! What's you take on this, I'll
post as many of your opinions as I have room....
Chuck's Email address
********************************************
Here's a couple more things I ran into over the last few days that got me
thinking.
........
A Colorado man who was having an MRI suddenly felt a sharp pain in his nose,
and coughed up a 1-inch nail that had been embedded in his head for 30 years.
Prax Sanchez, 72 a retired carpenter had no idea the nail was there, but felt
something move inside his head when the magnetic imaging device exerted a pull
on the metal. Minutes later, he coughed, and the nail popped into his hand. "I
couldn't believe it," said Sanchez. "I never had any idea there was any metal
in my face!"
(I just wonder, how that heck it got there in the first place.... -- Chuck)
...................
An Ohio man has been charged with drunken driving after he crashed his
motorized bar stool. Police say that when they arrived, Kile Wygle, 28, told
them, "I wrecked my bar stool," and confessed to going on a joy ride after
downing 15 beers. The vehicle, made from a bar stool mounted on a
deconstructed lawn mower, is fully capable of reaching 38 mph, Wygle allegedly
said, he was only doing 20 mph. He has pleaded not guilty and demanded a jury
trial!!!
(Yeah, Kile, let us know how that works out for you. --- Chuck)
.......................
With automakers expecting to sell 6 million fewer cars this year than five
years ago, 1,200 car dealers will go out of business this year; 900 went out
of business last year! (I think we all kind of expected this...
--- Chuck)
***************************************
Well it's getting late here in my office, mater of fact, it's way past
midnight. So for me, I'm outta here, and
YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!
(I'll see you right back here just as soon as I can!
Okay?)
**************************************
Here's The Cool, Unusual Fact For Today...
Hernando Cortez, Spanish conqueror of Mexico, introduced branding to North
America. He marked his cattle and horses with three crosses. The practice
spread throughout the fenceless West, where cattle roamed free!

Hi, did you do your Income
Taxes Yet? Well, I'm always one to do mine at practically the last minute and
will be working on my this weekend...
If you do your own and need some help, use the book I use... It's written so
we can actually understand it. It will show you many, many legal deductions,
especially if you have a part time or full time business.. Home businesses are
addressed to the smallest degree... You'll love it and with a few minutes of
reading you'll not only earn the price of the book, but I'm guessing at least
100's of dollars more... Read the entire book and save thousands!!! And
I'm not kidding... Yes, you have plenty of time to get the book, as you
can buy the Electronic book and download it immediately! Actually it's
much cheaper in the electronic form as well.... Find out the whole story
and pick it up here: "It's
Not How Much You Make, But How Much You Keep!" You'll save
yourself a LOT of head scratching and heartache!!!
You won't be sorry!!! Believe me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Catch you
later..... Chuck

It was a VERY beautiful day
here in Central Pennsylvania.. I would say probably the best one so far
this year.. It was sunny all day and the temps went clear up to 67
degrees! Actually one of the, if not, THE warmest day we've had this year so
far...
So nice that Betty and I just had to go out doors and get some yard work
done.. I hope I'm not over doing it as this last week has not been one
of my best...
I got ill about 3 days before the end of the month. I've no idea what it was.
One day I was fine and the next day it was like I was right in the middle of a
cold. I was sniffling, sneezing, all orifices were turned on. Yes, I think I
used almost an entire box of hankies myself. So, off to the living room and
onto my recliner chair. The next day, just about all the "symptoms" were gone,
but I still felt terrible. That continued for about another day and a half...
Now, that wasn't too bad but being right at the end of the month when I have
to do all the monthly things for
OAMA, (Once A Month
Association), it was a VERY bad time for my body to break down. I had all
the posting to do, Newsletter to write, The Monthly Member Benefit Directory
to get done, and of course all the statements and checks to write. That took about 3 days and we, (Betty and I), finished up late
last night.. I did get to the Harrisburg Post Office in time for all the
OAMA packages to get into
yesterday's mail... A couple or 3 days late, but thank goodness they're
all done.. Better late than never I guess...
That's also why I'm running so late getting this posting up on the WEB for my
blog... The one thing that I really enjoy doing, like this blog, always
suffers when you get ill.. Oh well, that's the way the cookie crumbles.
********************************************
Last night when we took the large bag of
OAMA mail down to the
Harrisburg post office, we were in the middle of yet another wind storm.. I've
never seen so many wind storms as I've seen this season. I'm going to say
season as we've been getting hammered by them since last Fall. I've picked up
more limbs in the yard that I've really lost count and some of them pretty darn
big.. Seems like every time I turn around, I'm cleaning up limbs in the
yard that winds blew down from the trees.
I'm surprised that our 3' by 5' flag in the back yard is still in one piece.. I
think it's probably because I put up a new one right at the end of last
Summer..
Well, the good thing is, Spring is here, and Summer is on the way...

I could never understand why a lot of folks, when they reached retirement age,
would move to Florida, or other places like Arizona.. Actually mostly
Florida... Probably because Florida is a heck of a lot cheaper than the
cost of living in Arizona.. I know each year, that I get older, more
aches and pains develop, the more tired I get, sooner, and oh heck, it just
seems like the old bod is just falling apart..
And it seems worse in the Winter weather. The cold just sets into your bones,
deep down. I think that's why the warm weather of Florida draws the older
people..
Of course I'm "stuck" here in Central Pennsylvania, and if I'm going to be
stuck anywhere, I guess here is where I'd want to be...
Florida is nice in the Winter time, but I've visited there in the Fall and it
was so darn hot, it was like being in Hell, that is if Hell is as hot as it's
supposed to be.. Oh, don't get me wrong, I can stand the heat pretty good, but
that darn humidity is a killer...
Now, I have a friend that moved to Arizona about 3 years ago, and he just
loves it out there... It's pretty warm all the time, but no humidity...
That's where the difference is.. This fella is only in his late 50's but
he still likes it a lot better out there.
He originally moved there with his girl friend, but she got homesick and moved
back to her home state... He says he's just going to stay there the rest
of his life... He loves to ride his motorcycle and does so quite often...
He says if he gets lonely for colder weather and even snow, the mountains are
only a couple of hours away and they have those things all year round..
He's already met a bunch of fellow bikers and they take day long bike trips
all the time... He even rides his bike to work once or twice every
week... He loves his new house, and has, of course central air
conditioning so he keeps pretty comfortable when he's enjoying himself in his
home..
Now, to me that sounds better than settling in Florida... Also, Florida has
alligators. Plus, if I understand it right, you're not even allowed to hurt
alligators down there as I think they are all on the protection list...
I read a couple of weeks ago that a Florida women went into her kitchen and
found a 6 foot alligator inside her kitchen on the kitchen floor.. It
apparently broke in through her kitchen screen door. I'm sure reports like
these are far and few between, but I just couldn't handle that chance of
waking up, swinging my feet to the floor to get up for a trip to the head, and
stepping on an alligator... No, I just couldn't handle that at all!!!!
So, I'll be here, where I am, until the end of my days, Winter or no Winter..
At least after all these years, I know what to expect. Once in awhile I
run into a black snake in the back yard, once in a great while a poisonous
rattle or copperhead snake, and some turtles.. We have deer in our yard
all the time.. Betty once went out to the lane to pick up the morning
paper, and ran into a black bear, getting ready to raid our garbage can, but
that only ever happened one time and that is very unusual for them to be this
far south, here in Pennsylvania. Yep, I guess the grass is NOT always greener
on the other side of the fence. I like it here and I like living right on the
Mighty Susquehanna River. Actually, I'm sure the dampness from the
river, probably makes my aches and pains even worse.. Oh well, my mom
and dad never promised me a rose garden.....

I know a lot of folks are getting laid off and are short on money.. I thought
sure that my home business would probably "cool down" quite a difference and
be on the down side. But much to my surprise, all my home endeavors are
actually on the rise. All except one, and that one just never goes up or
down but just prods along steady.. Oh it gets bigger and is growing, but
very slowly, which is okay with me as I like their product so much, I'd buy it
even if it wasn't a home representative business as well.
I had my one "Tape of the Month" program/business up to around $1200.00 a
month commission check.. That, over the last 2 years dropped down some,
but here lately it is starting to grow like it did when I first got into the
company about 5 or 6 years ago... That one, I've had in profit since the
very first month I joined it! I've ALWAYS made money with this company, and
it's not even my biggest one...
I also own and operate a downline builder for this program that you can get
into and start building your downline for only $3 dollars!!! You can
check out the downline builder and get an application for it by going here:
3 Bucks = Success
If you want to read more about the main program go here:
Tape of the Month
However, If you decide you'd like to join the main program/business
immediately, use this application and mail back to me so I can place you in my
downline where it would be most advantageous for you:
Tape of the Month Application
It's one of my more likeable businesses and it's also very reasonably
priced...

At any rate, looks like people are beginning to come up with their own "Plan
B" and are looking for new methods to make some money from their own homes..
Money that they can actually count on to be there when others are getting laid
off and losing their homes...
At any rate, maybe it's time for you to look into a Plan B of your own as if
you are at retirement age now, you'll not be able to live on Social Security
and with the economic crises, many, many folks have lost their retirement
programs. Now, they are up the creek. Even if you have several years before
you retire, you do realize that our money may be worth little or nothing by
the time you get to retirement age, don't you?
They cannot keep printing money any time they want, and in any amount they
want, with nothing to back it up or it will eventually become absolutely
worthless.

That's enough selling, (preaching) for this post... I did want to
mention a couple of other things before I rap up this post.
*****************************************
I wanted to tell you this story on the last post and it completely slipped my
mind. Betty's grandson, Mike the policeman from northern Pennsylvania, and his
father, who is also a cop came down our way to attend a Police Chief
convention about Narcotics Officers. Mike's picture and his new police car is
in one of my Photo Gallery's on the left side of this page.. At any
rate, they were down here for about 3 days and told us that they would stop in
to say hi to Betty and I on their way back home on Friday.
That morning, Friday, a man, Jerome Blanchett took a loaded handgun into the
Holiday Inn-Harrisburg East, passing dozens of unmarked police cars in the
parking lot and a sing at the hotel's entrance welcoming 300 officers to the
Pennsylvania Narcotic Officers' Association conference! He then went into the
men's room and waited to rob the next person who walked through the door, Mike
and his dad said. Unfortunately for Blanchett, that person was John
Comparetto, a retired New York City Police Department lieutenant.
"He chose to rob a cop in a place where there were 300 cops," Comparetto said
afterward. "He's not very bright."
Comparetto said he walked into the bathroom about 8:15 A.M. and noticed a man
in baggy blue jeans and a dark coat washing his hands. Comparetto went into
the stall, and when he walked out three minutes later, he was staring down the
barrel of a .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun, he said. Blanchett demanded
money, and Comparetto handed over $138, police said. Blanchett took
Comparetto's cell phone, told him to drop his pants and threatened to kill him
if he tried to follow him, police said.
Mike and his dad said that when Comparetto dropped his drawers he had to be
careful to keep his ankle holster with gun, out of the gunman's sight.
Seconds after Blanchett left the bathroom, Comparetto pulled the handgun from
his ankle holster and went after his attacker, he said. Their gus drawn, he
and other officers, including our grand son and his dad, took Blanchett into
custody as he was trying to get into a taxi outside the Swatara Twp. hotel.
"He's yelling, 'Don't shoot me,' and I said, 'If you move you hands, I'll kill
you," Comparetto said. "He was almost crying."
Blanchett, who is awaiting trial on four previous robbery charges, was
arraigned before District Judge Michael Smith on new robbery charges along
with charges of making terroristic threats, reckless endangerment, simple
assault, carrying a firearm without a license and illegally possessing a
firearm. He was taken to Dauphin County Prison.
"You're a danger to have on the street," Smith told Blanchett before setting
bail at $1 million!!!
He's also been tagged THE DUMBEST CRIMINAL IN PENNSYLVANIA, possibly in the
entire United States!!!! Yep, we really get some winners around these
parts... Hmmmmm maybe I should re-think that Florida thing... Oh
heck, I hear that half of Florida is now Spanish anyway... Oh well.....
***************************************
Well, that's it for this post, it's getting late again... I started this
last night and finally am getting it done... I would probably be here
forever if I left myself... I enjoy telling stories, etc...
Oh, one more thing, I just read that the Octo-mom is living in her new house
that cost $564,000.00!!!! Wow, from rags to riches... I just hope
she makes enough to take care of that brood and get them all off the welfare
rolls....
For me, I'm outta here, and
YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!
(I'll see you right back here just as soon as I can!
Okay?)

Here's The Cool, Unusual Fact For Today...
So ferocious had the game become that during the football season of 1905 at
least nineteen players died in college and high school contests!!!
