It's a beautiful sunny Fall
morning here at the Blue Bird Cottage in Central Pennsylvania. At least until
this afternoon when rain is predicted. But a nice, beautiful day, that's for
sure.
********************************************
Just had to jump in today with some comments about the falling gasoline
prices. I was filling up yesterday at Costco when the guy on the other side of
my pump looked around at me and said, "What do you want to bet that 10 minutes
after the polls close gas will be going back up again?" That's no bet for me,
I said... Heck who knows at this point maybe it is all just political.
I still haven't heard and real good excuses why the bottom is dropping out of
the gasoline prices but I AM enjoying it. I paid $2.18 at Costco's yesterday
and it wouldn't surprise me that it WILL drop below 2 bucks a gallon.
A year ago I would have been mad at prices like that, but after a Summer of
paying around 3 bucks a gallon, $2.18 looked pretty darn good.
*********************************************
I found a great article about gasoline prices...... Here's some of it:
Finally!
Gas for less than $2 - a price that would have drawn curses two years ago, and
prayers of thanks a month ago.
Declining costs of crude oil and cooler temperatures have brought the price
down significantly from a nationwide peak of $3.04 on Aug. 7. The national
average Monday was $2.37 but it could be found for $1.98 at some Corpus
Christi stores.
The average retail price for regular gasoline has fallen by 54 cents per
gallon in just six weeks, including a 12-cent decline last week.
According to the Energy Information Administration, this is the second-largest
uninterrupted decline in the history of the survey dating back to 1990. The
biggest was a nine-week 78-cent drop after Hurricane Rita.
You can find the rest of this article by clicking here:
Gas under two bucks
Now don't that make you feel all "gooey" inside?
*********************************************
So you think that old paycheck could be a bit more, and you feel that maybe
you're not making enough money?
Well, here's one for you.
In 1915 The American family's average income was $687 a year! Of course back
then without almost zero inflation you could buy a lot more then for a buck
than you can now. A new car would set you back $642! Milk was 9˘ a quart!
Bread was 6˘ a loaf and eggs were 34˘ a dozen!
A new home was about $3200 which wasn't bad even at today's prices...
So next time you think your pay check is too low, just think about 1915
paychecks of about $13.21 a week!
***********************************************
Well, I have lots of the end of the month stuff to get done like the
Once A Month Association,
the Newsletter and the
Monthly Member Benefit
Directory, including the commission checks that are supposed to be done by
the end of the last day of the month. Yep, lots to get done here in my small
home office in the next day or so...
So for me it's back to work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT
day!
(I'll see you
right back here just as soon as I can! Okay?)
***********************************************
Here's The Cool, Unusual Fact For Today..
Track star Jesse Owens beat a race horse over a 100 yard course in 1936. The
following year, Olympic hurdler Forrest Towns beat a prize cavalry horse,
trained as a running jumper, in the 120 yard hurdles, using only five hurdles
to give the horse's longer stride a fair chance!

Sorry about yesterday's
post as apparently it all depended which browser you were using whether you
could see all the pictures or not. Why? I have no idea.
At any rate I use Firefox mostly and all the pictures showed up just fine in
that one but late last evening I brought this blog up with a Microsoft
Explorer browser and half the pictures were showing off the page.
Why? again, I have no idea... At any rate I had to keep moving each picture
down in my web builder, FrontPage, saving them to the web and checking until
each one showed just fine on the blog... So if you were trying to see them
yesterday with no luck check them below again, and all should be fine...
If you ever find anything wrong like that again, just drop me an email and let
me know about it so I can correct it. If you want you don't even have to
identify yourself in the Email...
Have a GREAT Tuesday and don't work too hard!

Fall is finally here and
you can tell by the temperatures around here in Central Pennsylvania. The
temps are barely making it to 70 in the day time and down in the upper 40s at
night. It does have a nice "crisp" feeling in the air however, and it is
enjoyable. I do like my four seasons.
******************************************
I don't have much time for my blog this morning but I did want to post a
couple of picture of a cool tractor and trailer that I thought you may find
interesting so here it is:
Kind of makes you wonder how much it costs this guy for this work of art.
Whatever it was it was, was sure worth it, don't you think?
One thing about this rig is that he'll always have to
keep it clean as a pin as everyone will want to check it out. I understand
that he has
been
stopped already several times by policemen who just wanted to get some
pictures of it....
Anyway, I thought you'd enjoy
seeing it as it's something that you just do not see every day!
Someone is one heck of an artist or someone took an awful lot of time
making a lot of neat decals! Either way they did one terrific job, don't you
think?

Even on the hood of the truck tractor. Wow! what a job. Apparently this fellow
that owns this rig is one heck of a concerned American or he had relatives or
good friends that went down with the buildings.

I would think that something like this may cause a few wrecks as people see
something like this an they tend to rubberneck.
At any rate if I saw this baby sitting at a truck stop, I know darn well that
I'd have to take a walk over
to
it and study it.
I truly think that the folks on the airplane that flew above my home state of
Pennsylvania were REALLY heroes as they made a conscious decision to charge
the cockpit and take down these stupid
terrorists.
Yes, they were stupid when they thought that Americans that KNEW what was
going on was going to sit on their butts and allow it! They SHOULD BE
immortalized and that's a fact!
Kudos go out to this guy with
the
neat rig, way to go guy!
********
I did want to get these pic's posted but as this is Monday and all the work is
already getting way behind it's time for me to get my butt back to work, and
YOU, YOU, have a GREAT Monday!
**********************************************
Oh! One more thing.... gasoline prices are still going down around here! I
predicted about a month ago that we will probably NEVER see gas prices under
$2.00 ever again..... I REALLY, TRULY, hope that I was wrong!

T.G.I.F.
It's a bit cloudy here in Central Pennsylvania this morning, however, it is
supposed to get sunny but a bit on the chilly side this afternoon. Another
beautiful day today!
*******************************************
Yep, it's Friday again and I'm looking for a real good weekend. Hopefully
tomorrow we'll get a chance to visit the largest indoor flea market in
Pennsylvania that is located in Middletown. I do need some silver 1 ounce art
rounds and that seems to be the most reasonable place to buy them.
Every month I give one away as a prize drawing for my
Once A Month Association
members and I've run out a couple of months ago. Now, I've been giving some
from my personal collection, ouch!
I don't mind buying some for giveaways but I hate giving out my personal
collection of the ones I've fallen in love with... I do like my silver coins!
*******************************************
I'm always looking for some interesting items to pass along to you. Check this
out and does it remind you of anyone and then check to see who wrote it and
and idea of the date it was written:
"The putridity of our current government is manifested
by whom and what our leaders imitate in their quest for absolute domination.
Consider what comes to mind when reading this warning by Julius Caesar twenty
centuries ago: 'Beware the leader who bangs the drums of war in order to whip
the citizenry into patriotic fervor, for patriotism is Indeed a double-edged
sword. It emboldens the blood just as it narrows the mind.; Does that remind
you of somebody? Now consider this advice from the notorious number two Nazi
over half a century ago: 'Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought
to the bidding of their leaders. All you have to do is to tell them they are
being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing
the country to danger.' Sound familiar?"
I'm not going to say any more about that as I don't want to become embroiled
in politics that much.
******************************************
Gasoline is still coming down. But to quote Jay Leno last night, it may
continue to drop until about 1 minute after election day in November!
Any relief of the high gasoline rates is welcome in my house!
******************************************
Here are some little known facts:
This one is a Jim Dandy!
* For the first federal income tax (1914), The "normal" tax rate was 1%; 5
years later it was 77%!
* A soda can can hold 90 pounds of pressure per square inch.... 9 times as
much as a car tire!
* In ancient Greece, tossing an apple to a girl was a marriage proposal;
catching it meant "yes!"
* Good buy: NASA spent $200,000 on a "Sanitary-Napkin Disposal Unit" for
female astronauts in 1992!
* In 1924 a new ford cost $265! (Oh, and you could have any color you wanted
as long as it was black!)
*******************************************
I think the morals of our country at times as completely deteriorated. We know
a girl that's only 21 and just had her 4th child and still isn't even married.
Heck we have relatives that are just as bad. What the heck is it coming to.
I know this one girl is living on disability. Looks fine and healthy to me.
Maybe the disability is that she can't live without being pregnant!
No wonder we're working and more than half of our wages go for taxes. All
these types of folks are not only living on our money but our money is paying
for their health and even training for them to find work that more than half
never do. Buy them automobiles even!
I once knew a lady with 3 children that lived near my garage and apartment
that was on Welfare. She even got the money to rent the house that they lived
in. Not an apartment but a whole house. They, the welfare people, even bought
her a car to search for a job.
What the welfare department didn't know is that in the evenings and at night
she was a "go-go dancer!"
This was back in the 70's and she was making more than $100 a night as a go-go
dancer! She of course slept most of the day, raised her children and even got
free medical for them and herself.
To top it all off, she never paid income taxes as she was on welfare! When not
paying income taxes you may as well say she made over $150 a night!
And the sad part is, that's not even the tip of the iceberg! There are plenty
more doing the same thing..
I remember a couple of years ago that they had a special on TV about these
welfare people that were drawing welfare checks from 3 different states! Once
a month they would take a bus ride to pick up their checks and some even
received multiple checks in their maiden names and several different married
names. Some were making over $70,000.00 a year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And some
had been doing it for years!!!!!
Next time you send in your income tax, think about all the good work your
doing with it. Read the little known facts above too. 200 grand for a sanitary
napkin disposal unit! Come on government, do some shopping!
**************************************
Well the weekend is almost here and I have a bunch to get done before my
starts so for me it's back to work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT
weekend!!!

It's raining off and on
here, this morning, in Central Pennsylvania. Yesterday was beautiful, sunny,
and rose all the way up to 82 degrees. However, I think today is going to be
the mirrored side of yesterday and will be lucky to get to 72 degrees here, at
the Blue Bird Cottage. Plus it's supposed to rain off and on all day.
********************************************
I ran into some interesting stuff over the weekend and last night and thought
that some if it may be of interest to you....
Looks like the large oil companies better enjoy their huge "price gouging"
profits as they may be over sooner than they expect.
Take at look at the following:
BILL Ford, Chairman and CEO of the Ford Motor
Company, is banking on a harvest of a whole new meaning as they are partnering
with state and federal governments and VeroSun Energy to equip gas stations
with ethanol, along with producing 250,000 flexible=fuel vehicles this year
that will help reduce American's dependence on foreign oil!
Doesn't that sound GREAT! Yes, I know it's not really that much but it's off
to a good start! Also, the following:
GM reports that they will be coming out with 21
new models for 2009. Some of them will include the Chevrolet HHR, the Pontiac
Solstice, the Saturn Aura and a Buick Centieme. Mark LaNeve is credited with
helping to turn GM around which is a lot to celebrate at the present time.
And yet more:
REGULAR, PREMIUM, OR CORN? General Motors have
introduced FlexFuel line up for Chevrolet with the all-new 2007 Avalanche,
available with the capability to run on gas or E85 ethanol (85% ethanol, 15%
gasoline), a cleaner burning fuel source made mostly from corn. For more
information go to:
www.livegreengoyellow.com to see if there is a E85
station near you.
Yes, things ARE happening. A little too slow for most of us, but they ARE
happening. When all of this comes together, do you think that the Arabs will
want to sell their oil for just about any price anyone will pay for it? Darn
right they will!
I really DO hope that America becomes self sufficient again like we were
before the 70s. Yes, we did NOT import ANY oil before the 70s. We were
completely "Self - Sufficient." That's why gasoline was so expensive in
England and NEVER was here!
Yep we ARE making progress again! Thank goodness!
**************************************
Gasoline was $2.33 a gallon down at the CostCo's in Harrisburg yesterday and
most of the other gas stations it was between $2.39 and $2.43. AND,
believe it or not, it's STILL going down.. Hot Dog!!!!
*************************************
You know that we've been losing jobs to lot's of countries especially Mexico
and India. India is taking over a lot of out technical stuff and Mexico has
taken a lot of our Automotive building jobs...
However, I guess it must take foreigners to realize that they can't get better
workers than our good ole' American men and women when it comes to building
automobiles! Take a look at the following......
WELCOME TO BUFFALO
That's Buffalo, West Virginia, one of ten homes for the Toyota Motor Car
company, who has provided some 386,000 jobs for Americans upon an investment
of some $13 Billion since the year 1996.
And this is no fairy tale as they just keep growing and growing and making a
lot of competition for the big three auto companies.
Buffalo is in the western part of West Virginia along the Kanawha River, near
the Ohio state line, not too far from South Charleston, with a population of
only 333 in the 1950's, but much larger today!
Who says American labor is too expensive to use to build Automobiles?
Apparently only if you don't know how to use them properly!
**************************************
And one more thing to think about when you get some time today.
It might pay you to save some of those postage stamps that your sending out
along with your daily mail. Why? Well, when an institution like our Post
Offices closes for good, the stamps will fast become collector items. Bull
baloney? Well, take a look at this:
IS THE POSTAL SYSTEM AN ENDANGERED SPECIES?
Some are saying with the ever increasing cost of postage, e-mails, and
privatization it just may become a thing of the past. Some countries like
Sweden and New Zealand have opened their mail system to private companies and
it is known that Japan is soon to follow. They have already long had
competition from the UPS and private carriers.
What's wrong with getting your mail to your home of business electronically?
It just might happen!
They, the postal system are scheduled to raise their prices even yet again at
the beginning of the new year. They just MAY be on the way to pricing
themselves OUT OF BUSINESS!!!
**************************************
Geez..... time sure flies when I'm doing a little updating on this blog! I
have lots of work on my desks that need my attention so for me it's back to
work, and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!!

T.G.I.F.
Another beautiful, but
dreary day, here at the Blue Bird Cottage in Central Pennsylvania as the sun
only "peeked" through the clouds about 3 times and then for only about 5
minutes each time.
Tomorrow, however is predicted to be different with temps supposed to go all
the way up to 72 and Sunny... Wow, a sunny day. I'll have to see it to
believe it!
*********************************************
We've had a VERY busy week here in my office and at the Cottage in general.
Mostly in the office though. We also finished another bulk mailing today and
it will be in the mail first thing in the morning so if any of you out there
in "mail order land" is waiting on a checking copy that you haven't received
yet, if you don't get it by Monday you should receive it this week from this
bulk mailing as this one will bring us up to date for all the due checking
copies! So keep an eye out in your mail box for your copy.
*********************************************
Do you remember a couple of weeks ago, before I got so darn sick around Labor
Day that I told you that I had gotten involved in a new business that I had
made $2,000.00 in commissions in 5 days? I told you I'd get you some more
"dope" on this program as soon as I got my web site set up for it etc.. Well,
It's up and ready to go and I'm now in the process of "driving" traffic to it!
Are you interested in a REAL home business where you can quickly not only
replace your income of a job that maybe you don't like or even hate? Well, I
suggest that you take a look at this business.
You WILL need a computer to operate it and you'll have to work it a half hour
to and hour a day.
There is plenty of "live" training sessions on the web for you to learn
exactly what you need to know.
The other night I was talking to a "stay at home mom" that in the last 7
months she said she has earned $72,000.00 with this exact business and since
she started it they have improved on it and "fine tuned" it.
Look at my site and listen to the movie that's there. If you don't get a least
excited about the whole deal, I'll eat my hat. Anyway look at it by clicking
here and don't forget to take time to watch the movie while you're there.
The Predator Marketing
System.
This is a REAL Business with REAL Commissions paid directly to you. Hate your
job? Then why not change and work from home. Sleep as late as you like. Pick
your own hours to work. Want to go out and eat a nice lunch or dinner at a
restaurant when you feel like it. Go ahead, I do! You can too! You just must
make a commitment, invest a few bucks and then get it into your head that you
are going to work your business.
Some tips:
Get into a "proven" home business.... Don't get into these so called "work at
home" deals that have you making shopping baskets or "stuffing envelopes"
deals. They almost NEVER work and I've joined some of these "late night"
marketing deals.... where you can make a ton of money if you call a lot of
folks on the phone and are a good closer.
The Predator Marketing
System has professional marketing closers that close all of your deals and
don't cost you a dime. You'll NEVER have to speak with anyone on the phone
unless you want to.
This is an ideal business for someone that just plain, likes to keep their
privacy etc..... Check it out, you won't be sorry!
The Predator Marketing
System
*********************************************
That's enough "selling" for this week.... I think I'm going to enjoy my
weekend for a change. I have a neighbor that I promised to "hook up" a printer
for and a friend about 40 minutes from here that I promised to get on the WEB
with their computer for them, I may or may not get that done. But whatever I
do I'm going to enjoy a nice quiet weekend for a change.....
*********************************************
You do the same and enjoy your weekend. You deserve it!
*********************************************
The gasoline is still going down! They, "the experts" claim that it should get
down at least into the $2 and 20 some cents range. I just bought it at
CostCo's today for $2.34 a gallon! A heck of a lot better than the near $3.00
range that we've been paying all Summer long.
Go buy some and take a ride for a change......
*********************************************
Right now I'm going to get back to work and finish a few things before my
weekend starts, and YOU, YOU have a GREAT weekend!
(I'll see you
right back here just as soon as I can! Okay?)

Another beautiful but
dreary day here in Central Pennsylvania..
Looks like we're in for some pretty darn chilly weather around here til later
on in the week.. Almost time to clean and fire up the stoker stove!
Geez.... we only had about a 3 month break this year from the darn heater.
Coal has went up yet again this year as we got word from one of Betty's sons
that he just got his coal bin filled for this year. I think he said it went up
another 15 or 20 bucks a ton! What else is new... Geez.... it won't be
long that it will be $200 a ton!
Can you believe it, I can still remember when it was 9 bucks a ton.
That's NOT a mis-print.. $9 a ton!
******************************************
One good note today.... Looks like the gasoline is still coming down a few
cents here and there..... It's down here in Dauphin to $2.47 a gallon as
of this afternoon and I heard on the radio that oil has dropped even more
today. That's just fine with me as I hope the bottom falls out of it!
That would suit me just fine.
*****************************************
Falling oil prices add to Opec's worries
Latest updates VIENNA: What a difference a few weeks can make. As Organization
of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (Opec) ministers prepare to meet, the
question on their minds is not how high oil prices will rise, but how far they
may drop.
Crude oil prices have fallen over $10 a barrel in the last month, driving down
the retail price of gasoline and providing some relief for consumers.
While energy prices remain high, they have not risen to heights that many
analysts had feared, in part because of a light hurricane season this summer,
the cease-fire between Israel and Hezbollah and the fact that UN has not
imposed sanctions on Iran.
While there is no sense of urgency about oil price increases, some members of
Opec are beginning to express anxiety about further price declines.
(Get the whole article by clicking right here:
Falling Oil Prices)
Don't you just feel really bad for these guys? Yeah me too.....
(Ha!)
I sincerely hope that they go back down where the heck they should be and by
that I mean around $1.45 a gallon.... You know about the price it was before
all of this nonsense began back when the hurricane hit New Orleans?
Yeah, lets get back to reality... I doubt it though as this is the lowest
we've seen it all Summer I guess we'll get a little breather before they start
heading back up again for the heating season... At any rate, I suggest you
keep the old heap filled up while you can with the stuff "so cheap." (Ha!)
I never thought that I'd be saying almost $2.50 a gallon was cheap! That's for
sure...
*********************************************
Just when I think I'm getting to know a politician I start to find out the
REAL news about them.
Rick Sanatorium from Pennsylvania is running again and I thought the he may be
a good choice but I'm quickly changing my attitude. My friend Tim Barnes sent
me a link about this guy and it really does NOT print a good picture of
him.... If you'd like to get the scoop on him click over to here and do
a little reading.. It VERY informative!
Rick Sanatorium
Thanks for the update on this guy, Tim!
**********************************************
Thought I'd pop in here tonight and toss out a couple of ideas that's been on
my mind, especially about the gasoline going down....
Actually oil prices are at a Seven month low!
US light, sweet crude futures traded down $1.85 to $63.76 a barrel on Tuesday
while Brent crude futures slid $1.56 to $62.99 a barrel in London.
(Seven month low.)
I'm still not sure how or why, but let's just enjoy it while it

Got to get back to work now as pretty soon at 10 PM the conference call for my
favorite program and the one I make the most money with,
Elements will be starting and I
want to get ready to take some notes. So for me it's just that, back to work,
and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day and evening! (I'll see you

I know I said that I was
going to cut back on this blog, but I sure never thought that it would be this
long! Believe me not a whole week as it sure wasn't planed for that
long.
This has all been going along since LAST Friday so I guess I'd better start my
story there. Friday morning when I woke up everything was just "hunky-dory"
but by about 10 A.M. I thought that all of a sudden I really wasn't feeling
all that well.
No, not at all, but what the heck a little queasy was all right, nothing to
worry about so I just continued to work.
Well, by 12 noon I was falling into bed without a care in the world other than
I felt about half dead. I was immediately put under the care of my favorite
girl, Nurse Betty. She took my temperature and it was around 103 and stayed
that way for days as I drifted in and out of sleep and times that I thought I
was awake. I didn't eat anything at all as I couldn't hardly get out of bed.
About enough to get to the bathroom and that wasn't that often.
I slept all through the Labor Day weekend, period. I wasn't even aware that it
was here at all.
I do remember that Betty had said to me something that made me very, very sad
and that was the fact that the
Crocodile Man had
passed away, Steve Irwin. Steve had a nice series that was more or less on the
Children's channel but I personally enjoyed it and never did I watch that I
didn't have learn something.
Nurse Betty said that over the weekend when I was really bad she was going to
call the Doctor's, however from past experience she knows that on a weekend
all the people who answer the phones say is "go to the emergency room at the
hospital." I don't know about where you live, but around this area, you must
wait at the emergency waiting room for an average of at least 11 hours before
you even get in to be seen. I was just TOO sick for that trip!
At any rate I do remember one time that I asked Betty if it was Sunday and she
said it was Tuesday!
At any rate, I'm just getting around a bit right now so I thought that I'd
take a few moments just to let you know that I'm alive!
I still tire easily and will knock off on this post now but I'll be back much
sooner that a week!
(Have a good one and I'll see you right back here next
time! Okay?)

T.G.I.F.
It's a nice sunny morning here in Central Pennsylvania but it's supposed to
rain this afternoon and tomorrow from the "hurricane" or "tropical depression"
that's coming up the coast. I just hope we don't get too much to have another
flood around our place as I'm just about "flooded" out for this year and then
some!

I know that I mentioned yesterday about cutting back on the number of posts
for this blog and so far that's just what I'll be doing, However, as Monday is
Labor Day, the computer and I will probably take off work anyway, (Ha!), so we
will probably have a new post up here on Tuesday morning.
If I forget before rapping up this post for this morning you have a GREAT
holiday and I sincerely hope that you don't have to work on Monday and get the
day off to enjoy yourself with what ever it is that turns you on!
I don't know what Betty and I will be doing but I'm sure that we will be going
out to eat for one thing.... from there on we may get some things done in the
yard or just take it easy. I guess it really does depend on the weather.
I had originally hoped to get the deck scrubbed, cleaned and waterproofed this
weekend but that was before we found out that we were going to be on the tail
end of a hurricane so who knows.
At any rate I'm always up for a holiday weekend as I'm sure you probably are
as well.... I'm really looking forward to it...

On Tuesday in this blog I was giving some kudos to Senator Rick Santorum as it
sounded like he had the right ideas for helping with our energy problems and I
had agreed with a lot that he said...
However, was he speaking with a "forked tongue?"
According to a reader of this blog and a good friend, Tim Barnes, he may well
have been. Tim sent me an URL to check out on the "Honorable" Senator Rick
Santorum. Here's that URL, go there and do some checking for yourself and
decide for yourself. Let me warn that there is video clips there and they
don't hold anything thing back. It's quite graphic!
At any rate, according to Tim, he may be one of the most sleaziest senators in
the U.S.A., Rick Santorum. He has taken over $400,000 in "Bribes" by big oil!
I saw your Blog the other day about Santorum & coal. This Guy is running for
his [political life} see what he has voted for & what he stands for! said
Tim.

At any rate it looks like I may have read this guy completely wrong. Geez....
you just never know, do you?

Crude Oil Prices Climb Again
Crude prices recovered from an early pullback Thursday and closed higher as
all indications were that Iran will ignore calls from the United Nations and
the West in particular to stop enriching uranium.
Light, sweet crude for October delivery picked up 23 cents to $70.26 a barrel
on Nymex. The gain in oil futures had mixed effects on the rest of the energy
sector, with unleaded gasoline losing 5 cents to $1.75 a gallon, and heating
oil rising 1 cent to $1.95 a gallon.
Over the past month, Iranian officials have pledged to expand the country's
nuclear-research program despite threats of economic sanctions. Iran is the
world's fourth-largest crude producer and has intimated it could cut exports
to the West.
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad vowed to continue nuclear development,
saying that his nation "will never abandon its obvious right to peaceful
nuclear technology," according to Reuters.
Tehran's defiance was widely expected, and most traders were shrugging off the
International Atomic Energy Agency's report that confirmed the Islamic
republic was still enriching uranium. The report will likely clear the way for
sanctions.
"There must be consequences for Iran's defiance,"
President Bush said Thursday.
U.S. and Western diplomats will start discussing sanctions next week if Iran
does nothing. Travel restrictions and a limit on access to financial markets
are among some of the restrictions being considered, The New York Times
reported. While Iran said nuclear power is only meant to produce electricity,
the West contends it's a ruse to build atomic weapons.

Crude Oil Prices Climb Again
What I'd like to know is why are we always trying to poke our noses in other
peoples affairs? If they say that they are developing nuclear energy for
electricity who are we to call them a liar.
Heck almost all of France's electricity comes from nuclear fission and we
never stopped them... and frankly I sometimes worry more about the French than
any other country.
Let them alone... If later we find they are stockpiling nuclear weapons we can
always "step in" then and square them away.
We, the United States, always figures that we must protect the entire world...
What say we just take care of things here at home and then worry about the
rest of the world.
After all it's not like we have a 100% track record of predicting which nation
has "weapons of mass destruction" now is it?
We lost a lot of good American Boys and Girls and a lot of good guys and gals
from our allies in other countries already over in Iraq, and I'm not even
going to mention the billions of dollars and for what? Where are the "weapons
of mass destruction?"
None were ever found at all!!!!
Maybe, just maybe, if we mind our own business, the oil prices AND the
gasoline prices would stabilize a bit and give us a break here at home. We're
supposed to "cough" up the money to pay for the war and taking care of the
rest of the world and as a pat on the back for that, we get SLAMMED with
ridiculously high gasoline prices which in turn is raising prices on
everything else that we buy that is shipped anywhere.
Yes, the good ole' gullible Americans... Who cares, they're all rich aren't
they? Well the way our boys down there in Washington "throw" money around, no
wonder the rest of the world thinks we're all rich!
Yep, the richest country in the world and growing poorer by the second
including all the poorest people in Mexico and Cuba pouring into our country.
Yep, we're rich alright, soon to be the poorest country in the world... Heck
if you count what we owe in our national debt, WE ARE ALREADY THE POOREST
COUNTRY IN THE WORLD!!!!

On that note, I'm going to sign this blog off for this week.
Remember next week I'm going to tell you about a home business that you can
make tons of money and make it NOW from your own home... If you are sick of
working for someone else or just plain HATE YOUR JOB, you'll want to have a
look at this one...
I got involved in it late last Friday night and by Tuesday evening already had
2 more THOUSAND dollars in my bank account than I had on Friday. That's 2
grand in less than 4 full days and I'm just getting started! I may have more
to report on my earnings by next week but I'll also have a link that you can
check out by then as well.....
So..... stay turned and check back here....
**********************************************
As for now, it's back to work for me and I have a ton of stuff to get done
before my weekend starts. And YOU, YOU have a GREAT
weekend and a GREAT Labor Day holiday!!!! (I'll see you
right back here probably on Tuesday Morning! Okay?)

Here's The Cool, Unusual Fact For Today..
The U.S. could have launched a satellite before the Russians launched Sputnik.
A U.S. Army rocket launched from Cape Canaveral on September 20, 1957, could
have achieved orbital speed easily. Due to government orders, the last stage
was an empty dummy, so it did not have the fuel and thrust for orbit. It took
Wernher von Braun's team only eighty-four days to ready a satellite for Earth
orbit once the command to do so was given!
