The start of a brand new
week! It's nice and sunny but very cold out, here at the Blue Bird Cottage, in
Central Pennsylvania. I think Spring has taken a "leave of absence" for awhile
here. It's late morning and it is only 35 degrees out side. Brrrrrrr.... baby
that's cold! It's not going to get much warmer than that for the rest of the
day either.
I planted some tomato seeds a little over a week ago and they are about 2 and
a half inches tall. I was going to replant them into their own containers and
start to place them on the deck in the daytime but as it looks now that's out
of the question.. I'll have to keep them indoors until we get some more
heat outside.. We got an inch or two of snow yesterday to the surprise
of us all. Even the wildlife must be a little mixed up and I've not seen any
squirrels or birds this morning.... They're probably trying to figure
out this weird weather also.
Well today is the last day of the month and all of my
Once A Month Association
stuff must be done by the end of today so it looks like I'm in for a long one.
Betty did get a bulk mail assembled over the weekend so we'll be taking the
time to take that to the post office before 1 PM as our small post office
closes between 1 and 2 PM every day. Don't ask me why, as it's so stupid but
they do. Have been for over a year now. They say it's to save money but it
still don't make sense. If they wanted to save money by shaving off an hour
you'd think they would either open an hour later, or they would close an hour
sooner, not take the hour right out of the middle of the day!!! Well,
what should we expect but some lame brain in the post office to pull another
dumb thing. The post office is full of stupid money losing decisions. Look at
this as if you were running it. You have the only institution in the United
States that is authorized to carry letters. So what do you do, why of course
you begin and run a VERY expensive advertising campaign to let the public know
that you are the best place for them to mail their letters and you are the
fastest and the best. Gee that makes sense, don't it???? Does to some
crazy dip shit at the postal service. Oh here's another...... a couple of
years ago someone decided that the post office's logo needed changed so they
spent millions of dollars changing the logo on all of their packaging
material, envelopes, mailers, mailboxes, and of course on all of their
vehicles! Gee, that will definitely make the average postal patron think,
"I'll have to mail more letters, after all, look at the beautiful logo they
have now!" Yep back to the dip shit again that came up with that one.
Well, let's see, you're in business to make money or at least break even so if
you are running in a deficit you must spend more money right? Well that's
apparently what the post office thinks but that's okay..... you just must
raise the postage, no one will notice right???? Yeah right... Oh
craps.... see what happens when I start about the Post Office... I don't know
when to shut up, after all it's not going to change anything.... Not in
my lifetime anyway....
As I mentioned... I'm in for a very busy day today so it's definitely back to
work for me and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!!

T.G.I.F. Here we are at the
end of another week and ready for a Wonderful weekend! Another beautiful day
here in Central Pennsylvania but it's supposed to turn cold over the weekend.
I will enjoy today though. I'll be taking a nice walk after bit. Plenty of
other things to do today. I doubt I'll get that much time off over the weekend
as the month ends Monday and that means I'll have to finish all of my
Once A Month Association
stuff by the end of the month.. Newsletter, statements, monthly member benefit
directory, the whole shebang. So I won't care too much if it gets cold over
this weekend and I'll be stuck here in the office for most of it..
The Susquehenna river that runs though our back yard is receding more each day
and it will soon be back to normal. Whew! There for a while I thought we we in
for it. We lucked out this time..
For my mail-order friends: Here's a Pre-launch program that's
FREE to join! Since yesterday over 2,000
more folks have joined it so far. I really think it will reach 100,000 before
too long. Jump in there now at the beginning and get your position. Check it
out and join here:
http://www.SixDollarMagic.com\index.asp?id=3047
As I must get a lot done before I head for the post office I'll cut this post
pretty short and get back to work, and YOU, YOU have a GREAT
weekend!!!

Looks like another
beautiful day here in Central Pennsylvania.. It's nice and sunny and is
supposed to go to 60 degrees here. Sounds like a GREAT spring day!
Things are already moving along here in my office today with over 5 phone
calls already. That's why I'm a little late in getting out this daily chit
chat. Things are starting to get a little green around here and it probably
won't be long before I'll have to get the mower out and tune it up. This year
it's going to get a brand new blade that I bought for it a few months back. Oh
yes and a brand new spark plug.... That should hold it for another 10
years.... (Ha!) Heck it should run like brand new, right?
Looks like our brand new Pennsylvania governor is not going to wait to long to
put his new taxes in play.. He's already talking about a 34% state
income tax raise. You know, I wonder about this a lot, why must taxes go
up all the time other than enough to cover inflation? Seems to me that taxes,
state, federal or local are the biggest inflators of all! If they would stop
raising taxes the money inflation would be almost nil. And why do they need to
raise taxes at all???? Why isn't the same taxes that they imposed a year
ago enough? If they were enough then to run or supply money for some project
or other, why has it changed and more funds are needed? It can't be an
increase in population...... as the population increases more people pay
taxes and the tax money builds without new or increased taxes. Doesn't make
sense to me. Of course it will never make sense as long as we have politicians
running the show. If they had things making sense they would be out of a job
and we wouldn't need them!
To my mail order friends and home money makers that are reading this daily,
speaking of money and making ends meet, a new program has opened on the web.
It's FREE to join and has grown by over 2,000 people just since
yesterday. No money is required until program launch in the middle of April
and then it will only be 6 bucks. Might pay to join this one just to see what
happens until then, April 24th, and then decide if you want to get more
involved. As it's FREE to join and there are only 2 personal signups required
you might want to put in the husband or wife under your new position
immediately! Anyway it's worth a look see. Read about it and/or join it at:
http://www.SixDollarMagic.com/index.asp?id=3047
Taxes are going up as I write and with that in mind I must get my butt back to
work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!

It's another beautiful day
here at the Blue Bird Cottage but they are calling for rain later on. Because
of the rain forecast we decided to take our heart walk this morning. Now that
it's warmed up a bit it's pretty nice walking. I just love to see things start
turning green in the Spring.
Even the bugs are starting to wake up. Most of them I can do without but I
guess they must come with the season. The Susquehenna river that runs in our
back yard is a good half way back down into it's banks. I'm hoping it gets
down much further before we get too much rain. I think most of the flood scare
is over though as most all of the snow up state has already melted. I guess
pretty soon I'll be getting our boat ready to put in the river for the summer.
Around here at the office I'm getting caught up a bit with the inquiries,
orders, and entries into the two programs I'm running,
tape of The Month pre-launch
program, and the
downline building program for
the ICL. Thank goodness as toward the end of the week, (the end of the month),
it will be time to do my monthly newsletter, monthly member benefit directory,
and statements for my Once A Month Association!!!! Busy, busy, busy....
that's what keeps me going here in my small home office..... Talk about
busy, it's time for me to get back to work, and YOU, YOU have a
GREAT day!!!

The second day of a
wonderful week is here. It's a beautiful day here in central Pennsylvania with
the sun shinning and the temperature climbing to 70 degrees! It's hard to
believe a little over a week ago that it was so cold out that I couldn't go
for a walk. I'm back to walking the last few days and I'm starting to feel
better already. What's that old cliché, "If you don't lose it, you'll lose
it!" I think that about the truest adage I've heard. Don't you lose it... get
some sort of exercise program of your own going. You don't have to do it every
day, but maybe 3 or 4 times a week. Heck, even 1 time a week is better than
none at all!
You can surely tell that Spring is here as the geese are pairing off as well
as other birds and even the squirrels are doing their thing.... Yep,
it's time for Spring Fever to set in and there's nothing wrong with that!
I had a very large mail day yesterday with a lot of work.. I've only
finished a fraction of it so for me it's back to work and YOU, YOU
have a GREAT day!!!
Oh! If you didn't check here yesterday, don't forget to check out
Chuck's Daily Photo
Gallery 8 on the left of this page for some pictures I put up over the
weekend showing the flood waters and also some pictures of a surprising
visitor we had from the river!

The beginning of a brand
new week and a beauty it's going to be.... WOW! What a week end.. You
remember last week when I left off the weather folks were calling for a flood
here on the mighty Susquehanna. However, we got a small reprieve! The
river crested just a hair below the flood stage... But the really exciting
news is that I took a lot of pictures.... I reworked them and loaded
some of them up here in a Photo Gallery... Check out the left hand side of this
page and you'll see a brand new
Photo Gallery 8
there. You're going to find some neat stuff there including pictures of a
Beaver that was in our back yard! This guy wandered in from nowhere night
before last and I just
happened to see him and snuck up on him to get some pictures.. The next
digital camera I get will surely have a zoom lens.... It's tough getting close
enough to these animals to get a decent picture.. At any rate.... have a look
at the pictures... I think you'll enjoy them... If you want to check and see
what the river looks like when it's not in a flood stage, check out the rest
of the Photo Galleries...
I was going to comment on our war but it seems that everyone has a comment and
it's getting to be overwhelming. I just hope it soon ends and our boys and
girls get home safely!!!!
I did get caught up on a lot of things around the office here, over the
weekend.. I thought I'd get more time off but didn't.. We, Betty and I
did get a bulk mailing done that we will take to the post office later on this
morning. That always makes me feel good to get one of those done as it's a lot
of work and time consuming. After we drop off a bulk mailing we usually go out
to eat so we both look forward to it.
I'm looking forward to a very productive week and with that in mind, I'd
better get my butt back to work, and YOU, YOU have a GREAT
day!!!

T.G.I.F. Here it is the end
of the week. Are you ready for a GREAT weekend? I hope so. I'll be spending
mine keeping an eye on the river, the mighty Susquehanna. It is already over
it's banks and is continuing to rise. It's supposed to crest at 1 to 2 feet
above flood stage.. It will probably be touching our cottage and be
under the deck on the rear but if it doesn't go higher than that we will not
have to evacuate. We've already had a visit from a Middle Paxton Township
emergency man telling us that we may have to evacuate. It rained all day
yesterday and I did not get any pictures but hopefully I'll get a couple today
to put up here for you to see. You'll see a wild, raging river, that's for
sure. I think Betty and I will hang around the house just in case this
weekend.... we may have to move some stuff to a higher position. Never a dull
moment!!
The work keeps flowing in here at my home office, which is good, so it will be
a busy day around here. That's a reminder for me to get the heck back to work
and YOU, YOU have a GREAT weekend!!!

It's a rainy day here in
Central Pennsylvania and the mighty Susquehenna continues to rise. It's now a
little over 13 feet and half of our back yard is under water! Flood stage is
17 feet. We're getting closer and closer to flood stage and it's supposed to
rain all day today. We'll have to see what happens.
It's also a very sad day for us all as the War has started with Iraq last
evening. People will be hurt and dying on both sides. It's sad that all of
this must happen because of a few men. I just hope are troops do their jobs
and get home safely!
Here at the office we're getting another bulk mail together and I'll be
printing and folding most of the day. Also, I'm finally got caught up with the
entries for the
Tape of The Month pre-launch
program, and the
downline building program for
the ICL. At least until I pick up today's mail.
For me it's back to work.... and YOU, YOU have a GREAT

The middle of the week and
all is well here, in Central Pennsylvania. The mighty Susquehenna River that
flows through our back yard is on the rise. Due to the warm weather throughout
Pennsylvania melting the snow on all the mountains north of us the river is
over it's banks. In addition to that, Tomorrow it is supposed to rain at least
an inch and a half. The river is now at 11 feet where we live and supposed to
be over 15 feet by tomorrow morning! Flood stage is 17 feet! They are still
not sure what it's going to crest at. I'll keep you up to date on it and try
and get a couple of pictures today to put up here for tomorrow.
It's been busier that all get out around the office lately. I thought I'd
almost got caught up over the weekend but entries continue to pour in for
the
Tape of The Month pre-launch
program, and the
downline building program for
the ICL. As I write this Betty is working on outgoing packages. We have a slew
that will go out today and I'd also like to get an extra bulk mailing out this
week. If we can do that, that will bring us up to date on our bulk mails.
We are starting to get a lot of geese visiting us in the back yard and you can
see them pairing off to get ready to raise their families. All the animals are
getting "Spring Fever".... even the squirrels! Well, I guess it's expected as
today is the last full day of Winter. Hot Dog! Spring has Sprung!!!
Well, it's back to work here at my small office and time for another cup of
coffee and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!

Another beautiful day here,
in Central Pennsylvania. I hope you had a great St. Patrick's Day. I took off
a few hours yesterday and Betty, myself and the neighbor lady went to lunch at
the Country Buffet. On the way back home we stopped and did a little food
shopping and then took a tour of a Brand new lumber company building. Doesn't
sound like much, but it was fun...
With this warm weather here in Pennsylvania, the mighty Susquehenna River that
runs through our back yard is on the rise. All that melting snow up state is
to blame. It's supposed to go up to 12 and a half feet by tomorrow morning. If
it levels off at that we'll be alright. For it to actually start to flood us
it must go up between 16 and 17 feet. It's really traveling fast right now and
lots of debris is floating down it.
Still no sign of our
"Wild" Rabbit. I hate to look at the bad side of a situation,
but it's been a long time, (over a week), since we've seen and fed him. We're
still hoping though.
Yesterday was a GREAT day for mail. I received around 70 pieces. It sure takes
a long time just to get though that much let alone do anything with it. Sure
wouldn't give any of it up though... Without the mail, I'm out of business.
Talk about business.... I guess I'd better get to work on the rest of the pile
I received yesterday before today's mail arrives. So........ for me it's back
to work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!

HAPPY SAINT PATRICK'S DAY!!!
The beginning of a brand
new week and a GREAT one at that! Looks like we are finally going to see some
spring like weather here at the Blue Bird Cottage in Central Pennsylvania. It
supposed to go all the way up to 60 degrees here today! Isn't that GREAT?
Well we haven't seen our
"Wild" Rabbit for over a week. I figure either he found a new home or
someone may have "kidnapped" him. After all he was getting so tame that just
about anyone could walk up to him and pet him. Maybe someone thought he'd make
a nice pet. If I hear anything or he does eventually show up, I'll let you
know.
I got a lot done here at the home office over the weekend thanks to some help
from Betty. I am finally caught up with entries into the
Tape of The Month pre-launch
program, and the
downline building program for
the ICL. All 55 of them!
Plus, we have another bulk mail ready to go this morning. At least almost
ready. I have to work on the name lists yet, do the paperwork, and tray them
and then they're ready for the trip to the post office. As you can tell by now
it's pretty hectic around here for a Monday morning so for me it's back to
work and YOU, YOU have a
GREAT day!!!

T.G.I.F. Well for most of
us, we are looking forward to a relaxing weekend. Before I go too far I want
to wish my eldest son a Happy Birthday. His birthday was yesterday, March
13th. I'm not sure if he reads this daily or not but if he does, I did want to
put it in yesterday but forgot... Sorry.. At any rate I wish you many, many
more with each being better than the last!!!!
Looks like we're in for a warming trend and it's predicted to go all the way
up to 50 degrees today. Wait a minute, that's what our normal temperature is
supposed to be! Oh well, I'll be satisfied just to get back up to normal for
awhile!
Saint Patrick's day is just about here and Jay Leno last night was doing a Jay
walk about it.. Most people did not even know what the heck it was
about. Figures..... most of the folks in California don't even know where they
are..... (No, I don't mean you folks that read this daily, including you
Henry, from the "Barter and Things").... I'm
talking about the younger folks mostly. Jay asked them what St.
Patrick drove out of Ireland, they said everything from a car to a fish, but
we all know it was the snakes! Things are still very much behind here as far
as work goes, so for me it's back to work, and YOU, YOU have a
GREAT weekend and I'll see you right back here on Monday!!!

I'm back! Yep, I went to
the hospital Monday had the heart cath. and apparently all three of the stents
installed back in November are doing their job! So I guess I'm good to go for
awhile.. I did ask the heart doctor why I felt so lousy off and on and
he said it was good ole "STRESS".... So work or not, I'll have to try
and cut back some.. Just too much to get done.... I may get
Betty's help for more things maybe that will work. I'll figure out something..
Betty say's she hasn't seen our
"wild" rabbit
for over 3 days. I'm beginning to think that maybe someone has kidnapped him!
After all, he sure is kind of friendly. Hopefully maybe he'll show up today.
He had been a "no show" before for almost a week.
A couple of days off and my desk's look like a hurricane has hit them..
Plenty of work to get caught up on.. With that in mind.... it's back to
work for me and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!
PS... thanks to all of you who sent me encouraging emails and phone
calls.... I really enjoyed them!

T.G.I.F It's a beautiful
morning here at the Blue Bird Cottage, in Central Pennsylvania! The sun is out
and it's supposed to warm up to 40 degrees today!
I just re-filled my coffee and went outside to spread some seed for the
squirrels and birds. I haven't seen our
"wild" rabbit since
day before yesterday. He's due to show up today for food. We're ready for him
as we just stocked up on carrots and we always have his favorite stale bread,
wheat. This rabbit has it made. Now our mail man, Dave, even carry's treats
for him in his truck and if he sees the rabbit he takes the time to pull his
bronco over and feed the bunny. Yes, this is one fat rabbit!
This Monday, probably early, I'll be headed into the hospital. I'm not sure
what time as they are supposed to call me today and tell me when to report.
I'll be getting a heart catheter procedure. My heart doctor, and I, think that
at least one of the 3 stents he placed in my heart back in November is
failing, (clogging up). He will do the heart cath and if he finds anything
wrong he will repair it while he's inside my heart.
They go into the major artery at the groin area and shove a very long
tube that goes all the way up into the inside of the heart. They then use this
tube to put instruments etc. though it and work inside the heart. They have a
small TV monitor screen so they can see what they are doing and then they
shoot dye into the heart so they can see where it may be clogged. Of course
while they are doing this you must be awake so you can monitor to them how you
are feeling. Whoa, sounds like fun doesn't it? At any rate I'll probably
be in at least until Tuesday so I won't be back here to post anything until at
least Wednesday or Thursday of next week! So, wish me luck. I'll let
you know how I made out when I get back.
To my mail order friends who have sent me their applications and joined the
ICL program, I have finished all the paperwork and sent the applications
to ICL overnight and they will have them today. Scott said that he will begin
work on them immediately and have your welcome packages etc., in the mail with
in a few days. You should see something in the mail next week. Don't forget to
check back here on Wednesday or Thursday!
Well I have a ton of stuff to get done here in my small home office so for me
it's back to work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT weekend!!!

It's a mixed bag here in
Central Pennsylvania this morning with a mixture of snow, sleet, and rain. The
up side is that it's crisp and refreshing to walk outdoors in it. I have a
squirrel scratching for food about 8 feet from the sliding glass door here in
my office and he really looks funny as the snow is accumulating on his back
and he kind of looks like a brown, skinny skunk.
Last night Betty and I worked actually up 'til 2 AM here in the office getting
together all of the entries into the
ICL program. Now, this morning all I must do is write a letter to go with
the stack and go to the post office to send it to the company by overnight
mail. They want them by tomorrow morning..
Seems like there are a million things to get done especially with our pre-launch
for the Tape of the Month Program.
I have 12 entries on my desk to put in the data base and get off a custom
circular package to them. Plus, several orders I left go to get the entries
done..... so for me it's back to work and YOU, YOU have a
GREAT day!!!

Another beautiful day here
in Central Pennsylvania. It started off nice and sunny but since has become
cloudy. Still it's supposed to go up into the 40's today. A virtual heat spell
compared to what we've had over the last month or so...
Getting a lot of stuff done here in my small office yesterday and this
morning. Plenty to get rapped up before Monday gets here.
If my dad would be alive he would be 93 today. Happy birthday dad where ever
you are!
On Monday I began our pre-launch
for the Tape of the Month Program. As
of this moment we all ready have 17 people in the
pre-launch so you mail order
folks out there if you want to jump in early click

It's a beautiful sunny day
here at the Blue Bird cottage in Central Pennsylvania! Boy what a day I had
yesterday. Went to my doctor's appointment at my regular doctor actually for a
blood test to check my sugar. I never did get a blood test. We started talking
about my heart problems and I told him I was set to go to the hospital on the
17th for a hearth cath and probably repairs to the stents they put in back in
November.. Next thing I knew I was taking an EKG and he decided that I must go
to the hospital yesterday, immediately, if not before. He went to call
my cardiologist and let him know what was going on and told us, Betty and I to
wait. After about 45 minutes he came back and announced that I must now go to
the emergency room and wait until they could find a bed for me. (The time
before the last time I did that, it was about an 18 hour wait!) At any rate my
last trip to the ER they put me on an IV and then proceeded to give me drugs
that apparently I was allergic to and I immediately went into cardiac arrest.
They had to do something so they added two more drugs that eventually turned
out that I was also allergic to. To make a long story short, 4 days later and
4 cardiac arrests later they decided to try me on something different in the
IV and immediately I was back into the real world.. I had spent 9 days in
intensive care... Course it didn't seem like that to me as I was "out of
it" most of the time.
Now, you've got to remember, I drove there just to "talk" with my heart doctor
at the suggestion my regular GP. I drove there walked into the ER and didn't
feel half bad. They made me strip put on the hospital gown and stuck and IV in
me all against me protesting that I was there to "just talk to my heart
doctor." Then they decided my heart didn't sound just quite right and that's
when they put the "bad" medicine on the IV. An hour after I drove to
there to talk to my heart guy I was going into cardiac arrest, (in
simple terms, dying!) That's why I refuse to go to the ER to be
"admitted" to the hospital.
Anyway we came home, still nothing to eat as I didn't eat because of the blood
test I was supposed to take.... (I'm also diabetic.) and it's about 2PM
and the GP said that the Cardiologist would call me to tell me when to go in
the hospital and not to eat anything just in case they wanted to do the
procedure yesterday. Finally, they called and said that unless I go to the ER
the next available bed would not be available until next Monday. So,
I'm right back were I started as that's when I was going to schedule when I
got back from the GP yesterday! We finally got to eat yesterday at 4PM....
As I said earlier, what a day!
One last note, right after 8AM this morning the GP office called to talk to
Betty to see that I was in the hospital.... I answered the phone.... I
thanked them for calling... I remember when I was a young man that people
sometimes were put in the hospital to "rest up"..... Now, we can't get in the
hospital when something is wrong! The population has risen about 5
times what it was when I was 19 years old than now. Back then we had 4 local
hospitals. Now, years later we have 2 hospitals. I can't figure it out?
At any rate I think I've run on long enough. I do have work to get done
and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!

The start of a brand new
week! I hope you got some rest and had some fun over the weekend. I worked
most of the weekend. I got out all of the
OAMA stuff and worked most
of the weekend on
ICL program program entries and the
downline building program for
the ICL. It's been a long weekend.
The coal man made it yesterday and I was surprised that coal had not went up
in price since we got it back in November. Usually when the gasoline, heating
oil, and gas prices rise the coal industry takes advantage of it as an excuse
to raise their prices as well. However, this time they just added a $5
delivery charge to cover the high price of diesel fuel. Can't blame them for
that I suppose. They got here about 11:30 yesterday morning and the coal was
saturated with water because up until about 10 AM it was raining. We were
pushing water out of the Garage up until late last evening. I do feel a little
better now that we have coal before I go in the hospital.
I have a doctor appointment at 10:00 AM this morning for blood tests to check
my blood sugar to see how my diabetes is doing. Here lately, it seems I'm
always headed to one doctor or another for something. I hope I get in better
shape until summer time....
Hopefully when I get home I'll have time to do some printing and folding for
another bulk mail.
For my mail order friends check out my brand new pre-launch program just click
