It's another beautiful day
here in Central Pennsylvania! It's great to be alive!!!
As today is the deadline for our
Tape Of The Month pre-launch
members to get their applications back to me to get in the main program this
office is already going crazed. The telephone has been ringing off the hook
and I've been typing these few sentences for about a half hour! I just went to
the bathroom and came back to the office and found a note taped to the sliding
glass door that Fed Ex had attempted to make a deliver to me! Geez.... they
didn't even knock on the door! They must have snuck up to the door to paste
the note on it! The reason the person who sent it with their company, was to
get it here today NOT tomorrow! I swear a lot of people don't even make
half of an attempt to do their job properly... Their just waiting for
when it's time to go home......
Looks like we're in for a short week as the 4th is on Friday. I think we'll
take a walk up the street as one of our neighbors is having a huge 4th party
and we've been invited to go. It's worth a look see anyway.
Well there's a lot of work between now and Friday that must get done so for me
it's back to work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!

T.G.I.F. Yes, the weekend
is just about here and it's another beautiful morning here, in Central
Pennsylvania!
I can't seem to get off the phone lately for more than 10 minutes as people
are calling with questions about joining the
Tape Of The Month program through
our
Tape Of The Month downline
building program. I went to the post office yesterday afternoon and when I got
home I had 5 phone calls to return. Oh well, it's going to be hot and sticky
around here today so I'm just going to flip on the air conditioners and
hibernate here in the office.
With all of these Tape of the Month entries, plus applications to join our new
downline builder there's plenty to do around here and that doesn't even count
the regular orders.
I'll be working most of this weekend because there is just too much to do at
the moment. Seems like everything is coming down at once. The smoke should
clear by the middle of next week though and I should be able to take a
breather then.
In the meantime looking around at my desks it's definitely time for me to get
back to work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT weekend!!!

It's another beautiful day
here in Central Pennsylvania. It's supposed to go up into the 90s and be very
humid but at least they are not calling for rain!
Business is still very good around here. A lot of folks who dabble in the
"mail order" field take the Summer off as they feel business slacks off
throughout the Summer months. Well, so far, "knock on wood" it sure hasn't
slacked off around this office. If anything it's picking up daily.
Plenty more applications have come in for the
Tape Of The Month program. I
expect today to have even a higher return as we approach the deadline of
Monday. I've also finished the brand new circular for the
Coin Savers Club. You can get a
look at it by clicking here. The
program has been improved by leaps and bounds. For example instead of being
able to earn over $3,000 a month, you can now earn over $11,000 a month! Now
that's a jump. The company also supplies 100 FREE marketing brochures
and leads every month! With support like that, we've got a winner here!
I did have to replace my printer, HP 950C as after the smoke poured out of it,
I don't think it can be repaired. At any rate I made a trip to Sam's club and
bought the same model computer as Betty's son John purchased not to long ago
for over $100 cheaper than he paid. It's another HP printer. It's called a
photosmart 7350 and you can even take the memory card out of your camera and
push it right into the printer and view the pictures, print them, or transfer
them right to the computer. It does a great job of printing pictures. How,
economical it will be we will just have to wait and see. At any rate, it's
hooked up to my main computer and seems to be doing fine.
Last week I finally bought a new Laser printer, (this is definitely printer
month around here), as mine has been in constant daily use for the last 4
years and is going on it's last leg. It's even getting harder to find toner
cartridges for it. So I bought an updated model as it was on sale. However, I
haven't even had time to hook it up. I'm not in a big hurry as I just replaced
the toner cartridge in the old one so I may as well use it up. It won't take
long because I supply each entry into our $2 programs with custom camera/ready
circulars from the laser.
There's a ton of work around here to be done today so with that in mind it's
back to work for me and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!

Another beautiful day here
at the Blue Bird Cottage in Central Pennsylvania. It's supposed to get super
hot today in the upper 90s and be very humid. No, I'm NOT complaining!
Not after all the months of cold and rainy weather!
The Applications for the
Tape Of The Month program are
starting to trickle in. I'm sure today's mail will see a lot more of them as
we progress toward the deadline of Monday the 30th. It is really exciting to
see all of the enthusiasm of our pre-launch members. The phone's been ringing
off the hook. "What's that mean?", "Where does this go?" Plus, more and more
questions. I sometime feel like I'm in the hub of a big shopping center and
everyone must come to my station to pay for their goods.... It really
gets hectic here at times. I am at present reworking the coin downline
building program as it has changed hands and looks better than ever. I must
get that done today.
I try not to mention anything about government here in this post as I try to
keep it on the light side and there is nothing these days light about our
government. However I must mention that I am thoroughly ashamed of our Supreme
Court. I am so tired of them ruling on laws and procedures that completely go
against our Constitution.
Why is it that they are not happy unless they have people of different races
pitted against each other? It's disgusting. Affirmative action has always been
a joke and now the Supreme Court has decided to perpetuate it.
All I've heard since I've been a young man is that the blacks, Spanish, and
all of the other minorities just want to be equal with the white people. That
a bunch of crap. If all the laws would treat all with the same respect etc.,
we would not have this problem anymore. If everyone had a chance of getting
into school, getting a job, or promotion because of their own individual merit
and work, then and only then would all be equal.
I would personally be ashamed if someone else had better scores than I and I
got the job because I was Spanish or Eastern etc. We have black in our family.
Does this mean that the kid with black and white in him will get preference
over his or her white cousins when they apply to get into college? That's
sick. The ruling is stupid and unnecessary in this day and age. They
should really be ashamed of themselves. I really think they should all be
taken out of office and replaced with people of at least common sense! They
have certainly shown that they are not capable of doing their jobs properly.
They are promoting reverse racism. They are teaching young people that they
deserve to be treated with preference just because they are of a certain race.
They are teaching young people that it's more important what race you were
born into than how hard you work and study. That sucks!
I sometimes think that's why some of our young people are the way they are.
They seem to have no respect for anything or anybody including themselves. The
government should stay the heck out of our homes and telling us how to raise
our children.
I remember a long time ago one of our grandchildren would not listen to his
mother to get his homework done. She apparently yelled at him to get to his
books. He in turn told his mother that if she yelled at him again he would
call 911 and have her arrested. That's what they were teaching him in school.
You are supposed to be responsible for your children but you are not allowed
to raise them to listen to you. No respect for mom mostly due to what he was
taught in school..... Yeah ...... it's no wonder..........
Well, boy, I really got off on that one didn't I? Sorry about that it's just
that sometimes some things need to be said. I know it's not going to change
anything but I hope it DOES change in my life time.
Well, looking around my office even if I try to avoid looking at my desks
there is so much work on them that it looks like it's back to work for me and
YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!

It's another beautiful day
here in Central Pennsylvania! Two in a row! It's a miracle! The river is
receding back into it's banks, and the lower back yard is coming back to the
surface. As soon as it dries out some, I'll be able to replant my tomatoes
again.
What a year so far. We're almost at the end of June and it's just turned warm.
We have July and August and then September is here and Fall again! Oh well,
I'd better get my Summer projects done while I can. I hope it dries out long
enough to redo our deck. It really needs attention. It needs to be cleaned and
water proofed. The only problem is that after it's cleaned, it needs 4 to 5
days to dry before putting the waterproofing on it. We haven't had 5 days of
clear weather around here since last year! Oh well, right now it's a job just
keeping the lawn from turning into a jungle. As soon as it dries out a little
you have to stop whatever you're doing and mow the grass. Otherwise, if you
miss out it will look like a hay field in a few days.
Looks like my HP Desk Jet 950C printer is down for the count. I bought new ink
cartridges yesterday and it didn't help at all. It still won't print. Looks
like it's headed for the junk pile, (nobody can afford the prices for a repair
man to fix 'em now days.) That means I'm looking for a new printer. The only
thing that pees me off is that now I'm stuck with around $60 worth of ink
cartridges that may or may not fit whatever new printer I decide to buy. I
still say for what they charge for ink cartridges, they should give us the
darn printers.
I am now reworking the circular for the 2 Bucks equals Success downline
building program for "Coin Savers Club". I'll be working on that this morning
after I get though yesterday's mail. Of course yesterday being Monday, I
received a ton of mail.
With all that in mind, it's back to work for me and YOU, YOU
have a GREAT day!!!

Monday, the start of a
brand new week and a bright sunny day it is! Hot dog the sun it actually out!
Summer has finally arrived here in Central Pennsylvania. It's supposed to go
up to about 90 today. We missed spring altogether here in Pennsylvania but I'm
not even going to bother talking about that!
It's rained so much here the end of last week that the river is on the rise
again. This time though my tomato plants are in the way of the rising river.
So last evening Betty and I launched a
"Save the Tomatoes"
Project! Yes, I dug them up and put them in anything I could find and moved
them to the upper part of the back yard. The river is supposed to crest this
afternoon. I'll be able to replant the tomatoes in about 3 or 4 days after the
river goes down. To see pictures of
"Save the Tomatoes"
Saga, just click here:
"Save the Tomatoes".
I'll let you know how they are doing a week or so after I get 'em back in.
Because of the extreme weather we've had so far this year and the river, I'll
be lucky if I see a tomato before the frost hits in the Fall!!!
A note to my mail order friends, all of the statements and mailings are
completed for the
Tape Of The Month pre-launch we
completed on June 10, 2003. As the saying goes, they're all in the mail! All
1230 of them! We will now begin to re-do the circulars, etc. for the ICL
program which has now changed it's name to The Coin Savers Club and get
them in the mail. They actually should have went out first, before the Tape
of the Month stuff, but due to the company changing hands etc., I had to
wait and find out the new name and addresses, phone numbers, etc. before I
could mail out the joining packages. Now that's been done. I will begin today
to revise the paper work and we will begin mailing them this week.
When you receive your Tape of the Month materials, get your
applications etc., fill them out etc., and get them back to me right away as
we are fighting a deadline.
I'm having trouble with my HP Desk Jet 950C again. Now it says it's out of
color ink and I know it's not. However, it's won the argument as it refuses to
print anything until I put a new ink cartridge in it. I hope that's all that's
wrong with it as if it does not work after I invest 40 some bucks in another
cartridge, I'm going to junk the darn thing. When it works, it does a
beautiful job printing pictures and is pretty fast printing in black and
white. However, there always seems to be something wrong with it. It's NOT a
cheap model and I guess that's why I expect more out of it. I am starting to
think that the darn thing has been a lemon since I bought it. It's only a
little over a year old and gets used very little compared to my laser jet
printer.. If anything the laser should be worn out after 3 years of constant
use! Oh well... it looks like I'm up for the new cartridge I really hope
that's the problem.. we'll see...
Looking around my desks I can see for me it's back to work and YOU,
YOU have a GREAT day!!!

T.G.I.F Yep, it's Friday
again... the weekend is almost here. It's another rainy day here at the Blue
Bird Cottage in Central Pennsylvania... It's not even supposed to reach 70
degrees here today! Unbelievable, June the 20th and our temperatures are still
in the 60's. I remember when I was a kid back on the farm, in June we used to
harvest the barley. It was REALLY hot and humid! At the end of the day, dad
would toss my brother, George and I in back of the pick up truck and we would
head for the Susquehenna river. There we would swim for about an hour...
(We would get most of the chaff and dirt off that way.) With the heat and
sweat and the chaff from the grain blowing all over you it was really
itchy. We could hardly wait to get to the river in the evening. Boy that was
the best though. That was just about the greatest feeling. Now, I live right
beside the mighty Susquehenna river.
I was about 11 or 12 years old and we had just finished a day in the fields
and we were in the river enjoying ourselves when about 50 feet away a kid was
hollering and going under and my dad took a dive in the water and was bringing
the kid out of the water in what seemed seconds. I was proud of dad that day
if he wouldn't have been there the kid would have drown. Of course after it
happened we got our lecture again about being careful in the river. Dad was a
stickler for safety. I guess that's why my brother and I were both trusted to
run tractors and farm machines at about 10 years old and up.
See what happens when I get to reminiscing, I just lose it..
This morning we're still working on the statements and mailings for the
Tape Of The Month pre-launch we
just finished. Betty and I both worked until about 11:30 last night and
finally had to quit as we were just too darned tired. We did get a few hundred
completely done though. That's what we will be working on this morning,
afternoon and probably this evening. We will be mailing at least several
hundred today and the balance, if any tomorrow. Hell or high water, they must
go out NOW!
With all of that in mind, and a look at the catastrophe on my desks, it's back
to work for me, and YOU, YOU have a GREAT weekend!!!

It's another rainy day here
in Central Pennsylvania. Boy, I hope it soon clears up enough to mow the
yard.... Pretty soon I'm going to need a machete to hack my way through it!
The birds seem to be happy with the weather as there are plenty of bugs for
them to eat. I hope they eat plenty of the mosquitoes that are populating from
all this rain.
We have the same problem as we do almost every year out on our back porch.
When we moved here about 19 years ago I put an outside bell on the phone and
mounted it on the back porch near the ceiling of the porch. That way if we
were down at the river we could hear if the phone rang. It's really loud and
if you're near it you almost jump out of your skin when the sucker goes off.
Well it seems that the bell, that has like a flat shield on the top of it, is
an ideal place for the local birds to build a nest. No kidding. Sometimes we
knock down a beginning of a nest and the next morning there it is, all rebuilt
again. Then they lay their eggs in it. Can you imagine what those little birds
think when that bell goes off several times a day? They must be deaf by the
time they leave the nest to go off by themselves! Last year we placed a small
football on the bell thinking that would keep 'em off. Nope they just built a
nest on top of the ball! Oh well, at any rate there's a nice nest out there
right now and it just got 3 brand new eggs deposited in it. We'll see what
happens.....
Betty has a Doctor's appointment for 11 this morning so we will be out until
this afternoon. Hopefully we'll get back home chop, chop as I must get back to
work on these statements for the
Tape Of The Month pre-launch we
just finished. Yep, I'm still doing statements. When you have over 1250 of 'em
it does take a while. So, looking at the clock and at some things on my
desk that must be done before we leave.... it's back to work for me and YOU,
YOU have a GREAT day!!!

It's a rainy day here in
Central Pennsylvania. What's new? Apparently it's supposed to rain off and on
for the rest of the week. I heard on TV this morning that Philadelphia, in the
western part of our state, has not had two dry days in a row since mid-April!
That's a long time to go without drying out.
Apparently my working 'til mid-night days will soon have to come to an end. I
must cut back some on my business activities as it's getting to be too much on
my bad heart. I'm going to think it over a day or so but will be posting here
just how much of the business I will be discontinuing. Trouble with me is that
I don't want to give up any of it. It's had to give up things that took years
to build. But I will probably be concentrating on my network marking
activities as they seem to be making the most money with the least amount of
effort. I know, it sounds lazy, but I've got to do something or according to
my doctor I won't have to choose about anything!
I love putting up this little post everyday and the joke sheet so I'm going to
try and still set some time aside to do this. Besides I really like the feed
back I get on this daily post.
Anyway those of you who are in the same business as I and check this post of
updates will find out here what is happening....
Betty and I are still working hard on getting out all of the mail packets for
the end of the Tape of the Month downline builder. If you're in that you
should get your package within a week. We have to do over 1250 people so be
patient as we are working late in the evenings getting this one done..
As I look at the piles on my desk... it reminds me that it's time to get back
to work and YOU, YOU have a Great day!!!

It's another beautiful,
sunny but believe it or not nippy day here at the Blue Bird Cottage in Central
Pennsylvania. Yes, it's only 64 outside and only supposed to go to 69 today.
Believe it or not, the middle of June and only 69 degrees! Wow! Tell me this
weather is not screwed up!
The bulk mail is done and ready to take to the post office all but the paper
work and the writing of the check. That's one big thing done...
This looks like one of those days where it's going to be tough to get anything
done for answering the phone.. I've already received several calls this
morning. I love talking to folks but boy it's tough to get anything done when
all the calls come at once. Maybe I should do like the Tape of the Month Club
does.... they have on their literature and web site that they are in the
office from Monday through Thursday to answer phones. I hadn't realized
it until I was kidding one of the ladies there the other day about having such
short work weeks that they are there on Fridays but they just don't
answer the phones. They use that day just to get all the work caught up for
the week end! Now there's an idea... As of now I answer the phones 7
days a week if I'm here and can hear it. My office is right on the end of the
house so I can hear the phones ring usually if I'm in the house and if I'm out
on the deck I usually take a phone with me.... I try and be available to
anyone that's in any of my programs and also to regular customers.... However,
here lately.... hmmmm.. I may just give that "shut the phones off day a
try"......
As yesterday was Monday, I received a mountain of mail that took me over 2
hours to go through and sort. I did get some orders done last evening but
still have applications and what not to get done this morning and early
afternoon before a trip to the post office...... So with that in
mind and a look at the mountain of work on my desks.... for me it's back to
work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!

A brand new week and it's
starting off as a beauty! It's only supposed to go up to 75 today so it should
be a good one. I don't like real hot weather anymore.
I managed to get the lawn mowed down in the lower 40 along the river last
night. It was beginning to look like a jungle. It was getting pretty dark by
the time I finished but it was better than mowing under the sun.
Applications keep coming in for both of our $2 downline building programs. It
now takes most of my time in the office processing them. I never had a inkling
that they would be this popular but I'm very pleased that they are.. I
am now working on statements for both programs. Hopefully I'll have them out
over the next 4 days. Just in the Tape of the Month pre-launch program we have
over 1250 folks who joined. That's 1250 statements that must be done each one
by hand. That's a lot....
We will have to take some time off this afternoon to do some shopping for the
house and for the office.
So, with all of that in mind for me it's back to work, and YOU, YOU
have a GREAT day!!!

T.G.I.F. Here we are at the
beginning of a GREAT weekend. It's Friday the 13th! Are you superstitious?
Here's some "stuff" about Friday the 13th:
"Thirteen is especially unlucky terms of dinner parties, referring back
to the Last Supper or the Norse feast: it is believed that one of the thirteen
diners will die within a year. But the fear exists in every occurrence of the
number. Throughout the western world people can still be found numbering their
houses '12 1/2,' to avoid living in number 13. The state lotteries of France,
Italy, and elsewhere never sell tickets with that number. Hotels and
hospitals, and similar institutions, often have no room numbered thirteen; and
many big hotels, like the new Cavendish Hotel completed in London in 1966,
also have no thirteenth floor. Fear is also aroused if the thirteenth of the
month falls on a Friday--in itself a notoriously unlucky day, largely by
association with Good Friday."
Of course there's much, much more about the 13th but the above gives you some
ideas about just how serious people get when it comes to the number 13.
We're still battling to get out this week's bulk mail. It must go today or
tomorrow morning at the latest!!!
I have plenty of work left over from yesterday's mail to finish before I can
start my weekend.
Betty's grand son is graduating tomorrow. We're looking forward to that. It's
always nice to see a batch of kids starting out life. Most have no idea what
they want out of life and that's a shame as they sometimes waste too much time
until they find their lot in life.
Oh well, my eyes keep drifting over to my desks where the piles of work are,
so..... for me it's back to work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT
Weekend!!!!

It's starting out as a nice
sunny day here in Central Pennsylvania although they are calling for thunder
showers this afternoon. We sure don't need any more rain around here!
I went to Staples to pick up one of the HP Laser 1100 printers I "talked"
about yesterday and by golly they were out of them. They did promise me
one day FREE delivery though, so it should be delivered here, to my office
sometime today. I'm really looking forward to it. I also picked up a battery
pack for my main computer. I don't know what it is in our area but sometimes
the lights just flash off and on for no good apparent reason. It could be a
sunny day with no wind or anything and the lights just flash off and then
right back on. Well, you know what happens, what ever you're working on you've
just lost. Plus, every time the computer shuts down that way you lose files.
Sometimes you don't even notice what files are missing until you go to open a
program or have opened a program and it doesn't work properly. Finally after
all these years I've unwrapped my wallet and bought the battery back up
system. I should certainly keep me from cursing at times!
I finally took a chance and planted my tomato plants down along the river.
I've been holding up on that as with all the rain around here the river has
been up and down like a yo-yo. Heck it's so late to plant them we'll be lucky
to harvest any before the frost hits! I guess I can hope for some before
then.....
I love talking to folks on the phone but lately it seems that all I get done
is talking on the phone. If the phone calls ease up today I should get plenty
done as we don't have to go any where today and it's going to be too hot to do
anything out doors so I'm going to stay in the office and get a lot done. (I
hope.)

The day's starting out nice
but later they are calling for Thunder boomers... At least it's warm!
I'm going to be working on the bulk mail most of the day after I get the
latest entries done for the
Tape Of The Month downline
building program. I've got to make a trip today to our nearest Staples store
as they have a terrific sale on HP Laser 1100 printers and I'm going to get
one. I've been beating my old laser to death pounding out all of the
camera/ready copies of the $2 programs I've been running. We'll probably grab
lunch while we're out and we must drop some movies off at the library that we
borrowed last week. The neighbor lady, Jane, just called so I guess she'll be
coming along. I should be home in time to get plenty more work done...
I promised on Friday to let those of you who read this post to keep up on our
programs some news about a program I've been promoting very heavily lately
that I would let you know Monday about it. However I did not have all the
information as of yet. I just received a call this morning and it's a "done
deal." The International Coin Liquidators has been sold to
another company and at this very moment computers, software, etc. is being
moved from Canon City, Colorado to St. Louis, Missouri. The man is charge of
the take over is Jeff Charlton. He already owns a Graphic Design and Printing
Business and employs 20 people. Those of you who are in ICL will be receiving
a newsletter with the new information with in the next 5 or 6 days.
Well, time marches on and by golly I'll have to get back to work.... and
YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!

It's another beautiful
sunny day, with low humidity here at the Blue Bird Cottage in Central
Pennsylvania. The birds are singing and everything is alive. What a GREAT day!
I'm on my second cup of decaffeinated coffee already as I'm off to a late
start today. I worked 'til after one this morning so I'm afraid I slept in
late. I did get up at 7 but I just moved from the bed to my recliner in the
living room watched the morning weather report and 5 minutes of local news and
promptly fell back to sleep! Fortunately the telephone gave me a break too
this morning and I slept pretty good. Usually the phone starts ringing around
9 AM and continues off and on throughout the day.
My
Tape Of The Month pre-launch
program ends today so I've changed it into a Phase one downline builder and
I've put up the new circular. Those of you who are in the pre-launch can
download the circular for a fast start. Just use your pre-launch number.
However, don't forget to send me the 2 bucks to get you into the new downline
builder database and I'll send you a camera/ready custom laser copy with your
name and ID number on it. I'll also mail you a downline report and other
pertinent information when the Phase One downline builder ends.
Being that yesterday was Monday I received a small mountain of mail. It took
me over 2 hours just to open and sort it. All of the entries into the $2
programs are lying on my desk waiting attention so for me it's back to work
and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!

After a rainy weekend we're
starting off our brand new week, here in central Pennsylvania with a bright
sunny morning! (For a change!)
Looks like it's bringing out the wildlife as right now while I'm typing I'm
watching a deer out side the siding glass door of my office across the towpath
of the Erie Canal and it's just casually eating some grass. Right off to the
side of the deer about 15 feet from it is a huge ground hog, (woodchuck)! So
far, already this morning I've seen 3 rabbits in the yard and a family of
geese down at the river. Mom, Pop, and 9 "kids".... munching away at the grass
and I imagine bugs down there. It's like everything is out moving around doing
something enjoying this beautiful weather.
I sure didn't get too much done over the weekend. I had every intention to but
it just did not work out that way. I goofed off a lot Saturday afternoon and
Sunday I woke up about 7 AM and I got from bed to my recliner in the living
room and popped on the TV. I then promptly fell back to sleep. I woke up about
9 AM and Betty was sitting in her chair. We decided to watch one of the movies
we had borrowed at the library last week. Turned out the the movie was pretty
good and when that was over I turned regular TV back on and we both fell back
to sleep! I think this is the first we've done that in years. Anyway 'til we
finally woke up, (and that was only because I received a phone call), the
morning was completely gone. It was a dreary day outside so we decided to do a
couple of crosswords at the kitchen table, just to get ourselves awake. We
ended up doing about 5 puzzles and by then most of the afternoon was shot. I
did get to the computer and answer some Email and of course I received a few
phone calls. That's one thing about running your business out of your home,
people feel free to call even on Sundays, late at night, or early in the
morning. A lot of times my colleagues and clients in California will forget
that they are 3 hours later than we are in the east and when they call me a 8
PM it's actually 11 PM back here. Oh well I guess it comes with the territory.
I did get caught up with the
Tape Of The Month entries and
they are ready to mail this morning.
I just received a call and my 5 bottles of ink I ordered for my printing
machine are in at the Harrisburg Copy Company in Harrisburg so I'll have to
make a trip to pick them up this afternoon. I have a few print jobs to get
done before we can do a bulk mail this week.
There's another thing I'll never understand as long as I breathe through my
nose. Harrisburg Copy Company use to have a very nice lady fielding the phones
and taking orders for supplies. That was up until about a month ago. Now they
have a young fellow doing her job. There's only one problem the guy is Spanish
and I can hardly understand what the heck he's saying. When he called this
morning, he said this is Victor and then I guess he must of said from
Harrisburg Copier but darned if I could even decipher that! When he finished,
the only other word I could make out was supplies. Finally after saying
"pardon me" about 10 times, I told him he must have the wrong number. I then
added, "Who were you trying to call?". "C. S. Rollason...." I broke in and
told him he had the right phone number but I wasn't sure what he wanted me to
do. Then he said "Ink - Duplo machine" and then it hit me just who he was!
It's just my opinion but I think it's stupid to put someone answering the
phone and dealing with people who can't talk clearly on the phone! I do have a
bunch of stuff that need to get done before I make a trip to the Post Office
so I'd better get back to work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT
day!!!

T.G.I.F. It's starting out
cloudy but it's supposed to warm up to almost 80 today here in Central
Pennsylvania. If it does I think it will be the first time we've seen
temperatures like that since last year!
I've tried everything with the new digital camera Betty bought me as a future
birthday gift but every picture I take with it is blurry. I'm going to box it
up and ship it back for credit.
We also got the Jeep to a garage yesterday to find out that the upper radiator
hose needed replacement. Boy I wish I had my garage these days, I'd be making
big money. It cost 40 bucks to put a top radiator hose on! That included the
hose and a half gallon of antifreeze. I don't like the way they write up their
bills these days. When I had my garage, I would separate the parts and the
labor. You could tell exactly how much labor you were being charged. Now days
they just write down a figure on the invoice and that's it. Not very
informative at all. Oh well.. if you want to get it fixed you're going
to pay for it through the nose!
I'm having problems with one of the companies we've been promoting very
heavily. I'll let you know all about it on Monday here in this post.
Well, I still have piles of work on my desks to get done before I begin my
weekend so for me it's back to work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT
weekend!!!

Finally it's a beautiful
sunny day here in Pennsylvania. I almost forgot what the sun looked like.
Looks like we just may jump from Winter into Summer and will not have a Spring
this year. Anything to stop this raining and cold damp weather. Anything!
The new camera that arrived a couple days ago is a catastrophe! Every picture
is blurry. I've tried all the settings and different adjustments. I'm going to
try and find some kind of tech help as soon as I get a chance.. If I can't
back it goes...
I had to go pick up ink yesterday afternoon and stopped for fuel. I took
notice that I had a leak at the front of the Jeep and antifreeze was dripping
out. I tried to find a service station to stop at so I could have it looked
at. Would you believe it but there are no service stations left. They all have
turned into grocery stores! I called a garage this morning and I'm going to
fill it up with water and try and get it to the garage this afternoon to get
it fixed.
I haven't finished going through my mail from yesterday as of yet.. Time
is getting tight around here. I've got a ton of things to do before I go to
the garage so for me it's back to work and YOU, YOU have a
GREAT day!!!

Another rainy morning here
at the Blue Bird Cottage in Central Pennsylvania. The river dropped a bit but
now with this latest rain it's supposed to start back up.. Where will it
end? We'll find out over the next few days..
I got all the printing and folding done yesterday for the bulk mail and Betty
is assembling it now. We should have that out today. I must do the mailing
lists for it and paper work. That shouldn't take too long.
I had a pretty good mail day yesterday and have a stack of entries for the
Tape Of The Month pre-launch
program I'm running. As the pre-launch runs out the 10th of this month, I'm
changing it into a downline building program and the new circular for it is
now available at: Tape Downline
Builder you can download it and start promoting with your name until you
send me the $2 monitoring fee and I'll send you a laser camera/ready copy with
your ID number on it.
Betty bought me a new digital camera for my birthday. No, my birthday is not
until October 17th but hey it was a good deal so she got it for me. It came
yesterday by Fed-Ex. Now all I have to do is learn how to use it. It's so
small it's unbelievable! It has a zillion adjustments on the darn thing..
It'll probably take me a week or two until I can master the darn thing. I wish
now we would have ordered the extra memory card with it but I imagine I can
find a good deal on one locally. As soon as I can take some pictures, I'll put
some up on here for you to see. I took some this morning but most are blurry.
I'm NOT doing something right. Can't mess with it now but maybe later today.
Well, looks like I'd better get started on this pile of work on my desks so
for me it's back to work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!

We're back to rain here in
Central Pennsylvania. A good steady rain. The river is still on the rise and
is now about 10 feet. It's still quite a far off from flood stage of 17 feet
here in these parts though.
We got quite a bit done here yesterday in the office but I didn't get done
nearly what I thought I would mainly because of the huge amount of mail that
came in. I still have piles on the desks to get done. I did get the lower part
of our yard, along the river mowed before the water came up any further
though. That's good as half of what I mowed yesterday morning is now under
water! It will be awhile until it goes down and dries out enough to mow it
again.
The moles are driving me crazy again this year. Holes are everywhere. Every
time I mow I'm tripping through the darn holes. I've tried about everything. I
wish someone made something to get rid of these darn things!
Kim Komando had a great link on her cool site of the day that I thought was
worth passing on to you. It might just raise your spirits a bit. Check it out

Believe it or not it's a
beautiful sunny day here at the Blue Bird Cottage in central
Pennsylvania!!! Yep the sun's out, at least for today. They're calling
for rain again tomorrow.. I hope not too much as the river is on the
rise... Normally the river that runs through our back yard is about 4 feet
high. It's now 7 feet and tomorrow morning it's supposed to be about 10 feet!
I don't think we want too much more rain!
I'm going to try and mow our yard dfaown toward the river this afternoon as
tomorrow it will be under water and it'll be awhile until it dries out enough
to mow. I'll have to wait until the grass dries out first.
We did get the OAMA stuff done over the weekend and that's in the mail. We
didn't quite finish the bulk mail but we should be able to finish that today
and tomorrow that will be on it's way. Does it sound like I'm getting caught
up there in my home office? Might be, but remember today is Monday and that
means normally a big mail day. That should bring me plenty more work so I
don't run out!
Those of you who are "in the business" and want a great deal on advertising,

Biz-ness Gazette that
he publishes monthly. He has a brand new advertising special up for June! When
you get to his main page scroll all the way down to where you see the small $
mark. Click that special line and it will take you to the brand new special...
Save some money for a change!
