We're having another nice sunny day here in Central Pennsylvania. The humidity is down and it's going into the low 80's with no rain in the forecast. In other words, a nearly perfect day!
I've got to spend an hour on a conference call this morning with one of my main companies,
Coin Saver Club. The club is expanding and is even changing it's name. It is introducing a brand new business matrix, more new products, and higher commissions. So far it looks better than ever. I'll try and keep you folks that are in this program up-to-date on what's happening with the company. I may just add another link and keep that updated for this company. That way, those of you who are not interested in this company won't have to listen to me rant about it.
I have another
groundhog, (Woodchuck), problem right in the middle of my back yard! I was mowing out there a couple of days ago and almost fell into a huge ground hog hole! Of course I got out the wheel barrow and filled it in and I now have my fingers crossed that it will stay that way. I think this is the "Year of the Ground Hog" here at the Blue Bird Cottage this summer!
DollarMonster, (see yesterday), has still not announced that they are accepting new members....  I'll be on the chat room for a couple of hours, listening today, so maybe by tomorrow morning I'll have more information for you..
Well, lots to get done today here in my home office today, so for me it's back to work, and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!

It's a beautiful Sunny morning here in Central Pennsylvania.  A little sticky but definitely nice!
We had a GREAT weekend here at the Blue Bird Cottage! Lot's of activity on the river that runs through our back yard. The River has receded from the recent rains and that brought out a lot of fishermen, boaters, kayakers, and tubers. Everyone came out just to have a great time on the river. It was a bit warm out yesterday so instead of cooking on the grill we ate indoors. Toward evening though a nice breeze came up and it was really nice out on the deck toward the river.
The
Coin Saver Club that I belong to will be rolling out their brand new company format this week. They will even be changing their name! More products and more commissions! They are re-gearing to build a bigger and better company. Even the commission matrix will change from a 2 wide to a 3 wide..  It all begins this week! If you're in the company now, you won't want to miss out on the conference calls this week! They begin tomorrow. Check your email or drop me an email at: Chuck Rollason and ask me for the phone number and extension. You'll be glad you did!
I haven't received an email as of yet telling me that the
DollarMonster money doubler program is ready for new members as of yet, but it should be today or tomorrow. I will post it here as soon as I hear the news as I've got a couple of business friends that can't wait to get in on it. I did get an email this morning from my StormPay account where I handle my investments into the DollarMonster program, that they had made another $50 deposit into my account. I can't believe this program! I put $100 into it on August 15th and have made over $500 already with it! Now that's what I call making money! That's without placing anyone else into the program. I got that just by putting my 100 bucks into it! You just can't beat it, not even with a stick!
Well I still have plenty to get done from last week, plus I'm still working on some more mailings. I must get some printing done today so we can complete a couple mailings so for me it's back to work, and YOU, YOU have a GREAT Monday! (PS.... Keep stopping back here at my daily post. I'll show you how to make money on the WEB with your computer!)

T.G.I.F. It's Friday, hot dog the weekends almost here! It's a bit on the hazy side here in Central Pennsylvania but I think it's supposed to turn into a nice sunny day.
Looks like there is a lot to get done, here, around my home office before my weekend starts... The end of the month is approaching and that is the busiest time of the month for me. All depends on the weather I may have some time over the weekend to work on the end of the month stuff as well....
I just received an Email from the DollarMonster money doubler program I'm been writing about all this week to tell me that another $100 I had re-invested a few days ago has doubled to $200!!!  I'm going to re-invest it as it estimates that it will only be another 4 days to double it. This program is GREAT! They sent an email to us yesterday saying that they will be open to new members again by next week. (Only a few days away.) If you want to get in on this "mother lode" I would check this URL DollarMonster throughout this weekend. The earlier you get in, the sooner your money doubles!
Also, I received one of my credit card bills yesterday that has something on it that has me boiling and I want to pass it on to you. You know how a lot of stores are selling "big ticket" items and telling you that there will be NO interest for a year? Well, I bought a new laptop from Circuit City last year about this time on that basis. I paid about 15 hundred for it and they told me that if I applied for their credit card I would get a year of FREE interest. I started to clear the debt at a hundred a month and I figured that when the year was up and they started to charge interest I'd pay it off or transfer it to another card as their interest was VERY high. Well, on yesterday's bill they billed me for ONE YEAR'S INTEREST! They called it deferred interest! Deferred my butt, it was supposed to be a year's interest FREE!  The charge was for $121.17 deferred interest!!!! As far as I'm concerned this is nothing more than a "RIP-OFF!" I'm going to call the credit card company today to see what they have to say and if necessary I'll stop in "Circuit City" over the weekend. I'd like to report them, and still may, to the Attorney General because as far as I'm concerned this is the same as the old, "Bait-and-Switch" scam! I would never have even applied for their credit card had I known this was the "true" special! It's crap!
Well, the weekend is coming and I have lots of piles on my desks to get through, so for me, it's back to work, and YOU, YOU have a GREAT weekend!!!

It's a nice sunny day here in central Pennsylvania and the river is headed back down into it's banks, (once again.) Looks like we're in for a GREAT day!
I received my weekly Email from my IAHBE (International Association of Home Business Entrepreneurs). Every month as part of my benefits I get a FREE Magazine Subscription and also a FREE book. This month's FREE magazine 1 year subscription it for PC Magazine! Cover price on the Magazine is $131.78 per year and the regular subscription runs about $35. I just love this organization as I also make money with it.... (A nice check, monthly), plus I get deals like the one above... Read more about this organization here: IAHBE
You can join IAHBE for 30 days , (no risk), and get over $1,000 in FREE Bonuses! Check it out! As their motto says, "DISCOVER THE JOY OF THE 30-SECOND COMMUTE!)
Yesterday I mentioned we had a new bug in our yard this year and I think it might be because of all the rain we had..  Well, coincidently in Upper Dauphin Sentinel weekly newspaper it had a small mention that Master Gardeners are currently available to answer gardening questions at the The Dauphin County Cooperative Extension Office. Says to bring in samples of insects from our gardens for analysis and/ or diagnosis, (whatever that means.) At any rate they are not necessarily in my garden, (they are), but they're everywhere!  They are supposed to be open Tuesday and Thursday from 9 AM to 1 PM so I'm going to try and get up there this morning. I'll let you know what I find out. Maybe I have a monster bug that was created by too much water or a Frankenstein seed back flow from down river at Three Mile Island, Nuclear Plant.....  Opps there goes my imagination again!
Lot's to get done here in my home office this morning.... so for me it's back to work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT Thursday!

It's cloudy here in central Pennsylvania but supposed to clear up and go up into the low 80's today. Looks like we're in for a good one!
Some more GREAT news from the DollarMonster money doubler program. I got another email this morning telling me that the $50 the company reinvested for me on the 21st of August has doubled again this morning! Wow! This thing is great! They had to close down to new customers for a couple of days but I think they will be back up and running before the end of today so if you're waiting to join, check later on today then click here: DollarMonster to join for FREE!
Yesterday brought a beautiful day and I did get plenty done here in my office, plus yesterday evening I did a lot of brush trimming down along the river that runs through our back yard. The river was still climbing the banks yesterday but is now on it's way back down. That's the way it's been all summer. River up and the river receding. I can't remember the last time we received this much rain in the Summer.
We're getting so much rain that I think it's affecting not only the animal population but also the insects.  We now have a new "bug" in our yard that I don't ever remember seeing here in the last 20 years. It small and kind of looks like "aphid" plant lice but has small almost clear wings. It's hard to spend much time out even on the deck without having a bunch of these little devils get on you to drag back into the house.. I'll be glad when they go away. I'm NOT much of a bug fan!
As I'm already running pretty late today this will be a short post.. I do have more to share with you but I'll have to post it tomorrow. So for me it's back to work, and YOU, YOU have a GREAT Wednesday!

And yet another gorgeous day here in Central Pennsylvania!
News Flash!!! I'm sorry if you tried to get in on the Double your Money Program, DollarMonster and couldn't. I received an email from them that explained that they had to shut down their servers for a few days to upgrade. It seems they were TOO busy! To better Explain here is a part of the E-Newsletter informing us of the situation:

DollarMonster is Temporarily Closed to New Members. If you are already a member of DollarMonster or MyMagicDoubler, you were smart enough to join at the right time - congratulations!
If you currently are not a member, you can join DollarMonster and/or MyMagicDoubler in a few days. Please keep the URL of the promoter who sent you to this page and check back here soon, because EasyChairClub will be open for new members again, beginning on or about August 25, 2004.
WHY DO WE DO THIS?
Our first obligation is to our present members!
If you are a current member, you belong to an EXCLUSIVE group of people! EasyChairClub and its members have been breaking records all this week FOR DOUBLING ITS MEMBER'S MONEY.
At the present time, we have the following tasks to accomplish. We cannot complete these tasks with all the traffic on our current, obsolete web site. So we have decided to stop all advertising on the Internet for a few days.
YES, DOLLARMONSTER AND MYMAGICDOUBLER ARE TOO SUCCESSFUL RIGHT NOW, FOR OUR CURRENT STAFFING AND TECHNICAL RESOURCES!!
THIS IS A GOOD THING!!
The following tasks will be completed before, on or about August 25, 2004:
1) DOUBLE THE MONEY OF THE CURRENT MEMBERSHIP ON TIME, as it was previously done between 7/10/2004 and 8/15/2004!!
2) PROCESS REQUESTS FOR WITHDRAWALS ON TIME, as it was previously done between 7/10/2004 and 8/15/2004!!
3) RECORD ALL MISSING TRANSACTIONS IN THE BACK OFFICES OF MEMBERS, caused by user error and Internet disturbances experienced during transactions.
4) ANSWER ALL E-MAIL in our Support MailBox.

So that's the story.... not real bad as the 25th is tomorrow and things should be back to normal... actually, better than normal.  Don't forget about this one as the double rate at this moment is estimated at only 3 days!!! I know I've decided to put another investment in tomorrow...
The furnace man showed yesterday and we made the final decision on which brand new coal stoker we will have installed in a week or so. Boy I'm glad that's out of the way as I was kind of nervous the last couple of mornings that were pretty darn chilly. Even though I don't remember firing up the furnace ever before October, I'll still feel better once that baby is installed! Our old one, the one we gave to Mike, the grandson back at the beginning of August, put out about 40,000 to 60,000 BTU. The new one we ordered will put out a high heat of 105,000 BTU so this baby should heat the old cottage up a lot better this winter! With the old one, when the nights became very cold, like low teens to below zero we always had to fire up a kerosene heater or two to bring the heat up to a satisfactory, comfortable level. Hopefully with the new one we won't have to mess with the heaters... I know we'll burn more coal but heck, coal is a lot cheaper than kerosene and for the coal, it comes from up-state Pennsylvania and we don't have to depend on the Arabs for it!!! The later model coal stoves are a lot more efficient that the old ones were. Even with our old stoker, when it was operating at "full tilt" you could lay you hand on the stove pipe and although it was hot, it would not burn you. The heat stayed in the house and did not travel up the chimney! Oil, gas and kerosene furnaces can only hope to be that efficient! Well, maybe the gas is, but look at the fuel cost!!!
Plenty to get done here in my office today as I look at all the piles on my desks, so for me I'm afraid its back to work, and YOU, YOU have a GREAT Tuesday!!!

It's another beautiful day here in central Pennsylvania! The humidity is low, right now it's only about 65 degrees and it's only supposed to go to about 85 today! Looks like we're in for a GREAT day!
Lot's of stuff going on here today....  We ordered a new stoker furnace on Friday and the furnace man is on his way here now to check out our house to make sure everything will work properly once installed. We decided to get it from a company right outside of Duncannon.. which is a small town a bit north of us.... So, hopefully, we'll be warm this winter....
Do you remember last Monday when I mentioned that I joined this money program called the DollarMonster? You don't have to promote it, just whatever amount you invest it will double. They estimated at that time it would take 32 days. I invested 50 bucks.. Well the next day they estimated it would take about 3 days to double your money. On that day I was talking to Betty about it and she asked me to put $50 in for her, so invested another 100 bucks, $50 for her and $50 for me. Well, the first $50 is still in the account and is still in the process of doubling, however when I looked at my account yesterday the $100 had doubled! It's needless to say I was both pleased and surprised that it did take longer than 3 days but actually it took 'til Saturday to double so that would be about 4 to 4 and a half days. That's good enough for me. If you'd like to toss a few bucks at it and see for yourself just click here and Join for FREE DollarMonster! Just one of the many benefits you get by reading this daily post. Personally, I am seriously thinking of trying some serious money this week. If I do I'll let you know how I made out. I did reinvest some so I should know how that does before the end of this week. Oh incidentally, the time they are estimating it takes to double your money is now currently 3 DAYS! If you ARE thinking of trying it DO IT NOW!!!
The statements
for the 2 Bucks for Success downline builder for the Coin Saver Club are in the mail so if you are in the 2 Bucks for Success downline builder, and have placed anyone in your downline from July 15th to August 15th through me, you'll receive your statement and a day or two.
The furnace man should be here any minute so for me, at the moment, it's back to work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!

T.G.I.F. It's a beautiful sunny morning here in Central Pennsylvania! Looks like we're in for a great day! Since we gave our stoker stove to Betty's grandson, Mike, the cop, I think it's a good time to go stove shopping. At any rate I called a shop in Duncannon, (that's a small town about 10 miles above where we live), and we're supposed to go up and see what he has in stock or can order at 1:30 this afternoon. I hate buying "big items" that going to be around, in this case, longer than me. Even cars are better because we get a different car at least every 10 years..  The stove will probably be here for about 15 years, actually 18 years if it lasts as long as the last one. Once you've made that decision as to which one you want, how much heat it will produce, what it looks like, etc., you're pretty much stuck with it for a long time. We can't "hide" ours in the basement for what little basement we have gets filled with water when the mighty Susquehenna river, that flows in our back yard, gets too high. So we'll be seeing it on a daily basis.
At least the newer stoker's are more "up to date" and throw more heat than the older models. Our old one was good but when the temperature went down to zero or below it just could not keep up and we had to light kerosene heaters to stay warm. When we bought the old one, that was the biggest one they had. However now they have several models that give off many more BTUs than our old one did. That's the kind we're after now.
We had another bad thunder and lightning storm over last night and when I went out back this morning it looks like we have plenty of blown down tree branches to pick up and get the place back in order. Man, this has been the year for storms. I don't think I can recall any year that we've had as many as this year....
I haven't seen much action on the river the last few days because of all the rain, it's too muddy to fish and too high to boat, (except for the big boats that is.) Maybe this weekend will bring some more activity.
I've been receiving quite a few program entries and orders over the last few days that I have not completely finished. Some are easy and don't take long.... other's are more than difficult. I received one yesterday with some of the advertising material that I mailed to this person and a check for $15. The check had the "Pay to:" empty and the note line was empty. I have no idea what it's for or what I'm supposed to do with it. The material that was sent back with it was for a program that was supposed to be sent to the company and the amount that was to be sent was $75. I have no idea what the heck this 15 bucks is for. Now I much search my data bases to see if I can find their phone number or maybe do a reverse search on the WEB for one. This one "order" will take longer to do than 10 that come in with the proper information.  When I receive one like this it makes me wonder just what the heck the person that sent it was thinking of when they sealed the envelope? Apparently they had in "their" mind just what they wanted and must have assumed that if the sent me a check for 15 bucks I would know as well. But why no "Pay to:" name? That's a real puzzler right there...  Oh well I'll have to do that one when I get the ones done that the folks took enough time to do properly.
I have quite a bit of "stuff" to get done before my weekend gets started, one being stoker shopping, so for me it's back to work and YOU, YOU have have a GREAT weekend!!!

Lucky Thursday! It's raining, again, outside....  But I'm looking at a GREAT day here in my home office today. Things are getting done and it feels good to be catching up with some things...
I ordered a larger memory card for my camera, 128 megs, a couple of days ago from Buy.com and it was a great deal. It arrived here yesterday morning by FedEx. As soon as I cut open the factory seal I could see it was way too big to fit into my camera. I guess it was partially my fault as when I read the ad it did mention my camera but not mention my exact model. At any rate it would not fit. I contacted the company by the Internet and obtained a return authorization label that I printed out on my printer. It was even pre-paid! I used the envelope they used to send it to me, taped it up and taped on the new label and dropped it off at a UPS outlet. That's it. I think it was easier to return than a regular store. At least I didn't have to wait in line. I'm starting to like shopping via the Internet all the more. I must say however, if I had bought it in a "brick and mortar" store I would have probably seen immediately that it would not have fit. But I could have never got the price that I did on the Web so I guess it's about as broad as it is long!
The entries have started to roll in to join the Tape of the Month program from the join letters that I sent out for the
the downline builder, $2=SUCCESS. It looks like we may have a good sign up rate for the Phase IV downline builder. Those of you who were in Phase IV and are going to join Phase V can get a new circular to use until your custom circular gets to you. It's on the web at: $2=SUCCESS. It's in a PDF file so it will print out just like a camera/ready copy. Just add your name and ID number.
I will be preparing the downline reports for the $2 downline builder for the 2 Bucks for Success downline builder for the Coin Saver Club today. If you signed up any one into your downline builder between July 15th and August 15th you will receive a downline report over the next few day.
Well, with all the above in mind I guess it's time for me to get back to the grindstone and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!

It's another sunny day here at the Blue Bird Cottage in Central Pennsylvania..
I'm usually not this late getting up this post but today has been very busy so far. I've received quite a few phone calls about our
$2=SUCCESS downline building program, Phase IV that I just sent out "join up" packages and downline reports for last week. I also had a call about the American Bill Money program, (ID #3766) already this morning. So things are moving and shaking and folks are working on getting in some more money to keep up with the high cost of things....
Three or four days have gone by since I invested in the
DollarMonster and I checked my site and my investment has not doubled as of yet but it's only been a few days so I'll keep you posted when something happens.
A couple of weeks ago I put up some movies on www.amazon.com to sell. I also have a ton of computer manuals and books some in brand new condition so I put up one book. I had intentions of putting up more books but just have not had the time to get back to the project yet. Yesterday I sold something! You guessed it, the book. I haven't sold any of the movies yet but the one book has been purchased. Go here to see my movies and other listings,
View Open Marketplace Listings, I've watched them all and they are all in great condition! Bookmark where I have my listings as I'll be putting up more books and probably some more movies this week. (If you have a particular movie you're interested in or looking for Email me as I own over 400 movies and if I have it in stock, I'll give you a GREAT deal on it!)
Time is slipping away today already so for me it's back to work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT Wednesday.

It's another beautiful sunny day here in Central Pennsylvania.
I had yesterday really planned out to get as much work done as possible and as I finishing the paperwork for the 200 piece bulk mail my son George stopped in. As I haven't seen him about 3 years we sat and talked all afternoon. It was a wonderful visit and I really enjoyed it. Seems like George at 41 years old is beginning a semester at Penn State University. State College PA. The University is about a 2 hour and 15 minute drive from where he lives so he's in for some long hours for the next 8 months. He will continue to work his full time job at the Harrisburg Post Office from 11PM to 7AM and then he'll be heading to Penn State for classes with a 2 hr and 15 minute drive just to get their. He'll take his classes and then it's back home with another 2 hr and 15 minute drive. He'll be working 8 hours, on the road 4˝ hours and be taking classes and need time for study. Darned if I know how he's going to keep up that grind. The courses he's taking our not the easiest either. 2 that he mentioned are physics and chemistry and I think he said Calculus as well. He's already finished 3 semesters down in the area where he lives at a branch of Penn State but must go up state to the college to finish his studies...  Good luck George!
As I didn't get much done yesterday, I even failed to get out my bulk mailing I must get that out today and get caught up with some other things....
Looks like I'm afraid this will be a short post today as I must get back to work, and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!! (Some GREAT jokes today.... check 'em out!)

It's a beautiful sunny day here in Central Pennsylvania to start off our new work week. Not too hot and not too cold just perfect!
Incidentally, hurricane Charley missed us and headed off the coast before it got to us. That means we missed all that rain that we really didn't need anyway. Because of that the mighty Susquehenna River that runs through our back yard is still receding into it's banks and should be around normal in a few days..  (Unless there's another hurricane on it's way!)
I didn't get much done outdoors over the weekend even though we had pretty good weather. But as they were planning on the tail end of a hurricane hitting us I more or less planed to get things done inside and we did get a good bit done. I have another 200 piece mailing to go out for the new program I joined,
American Bill Money program, (ID #3766). This program is starting to do well for me and I expected it to. After all when you promote something and it's a good program, good things will happen.
Talking about programs I had one sent to me over the weekend. It's all on the Internet. After checking it out, I've decided it's nothing more than a money program and will eventually collapse. However, those few thousand that get in at the beginning WILL profit from it.
It's pretty simple, you put a hundred dollars in it or $10 or whatever you want and that money will double with in 30 days... Right now they are talking about 2 days. I know it won't last and I wouldn't recommend staying with it too long but it will work at the beginning and is already.... You will have to set up an account so you can "buy" into it and get money transferred to the same account when it doubles..... but that's about it.... Just click here for all the details: DollarMonster Be patient as the site is very busy getting hit by the thousands of folks wanting to double their money!  You don't have to promote it at all! Just put your money in and keep looking at your account. It will tell you when it doubles and you can draw it out, reinvest or what ever.. Just be careful. Over the weekend I put in $50 and then Yesterday I put in $100. When I checked my account it has estimated time to double the $50 is 32 days.. However, to double the $100 just 2 days! They just went to that yesterday afternoon so it may pay for you to hurry. If you're worried, hit it once and quit! The secret, do it fast, that's it!
Well, as I look around my desks at the piles, and I still must do the paperwork for the 200 mailing for today, it's time for me to get back to work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT Monday!

T.G.I.F.
Friday the 13th! Be VERY careful today!!!
Yes this week seemed to slide right by. They say, "Time flies when you're having fun", right? Apparently I must have been having a ball this week. Funny, I don't remember having that great of a time though.....  At any rate hopefully you have the weekend off and have some good plans.
Unfortunately, here in the east and Central Pennsylvania, where I live, we're looking to get hit by yet another hurricane.... "Charley".... Yesterday and last night we got the tail end of "Bonnie" that slid off the coast but left us with pouring rain most of the night. Now we're getting a short break of today and "Charley" is supposed to dump more water on us. Fortunately we did have a week and a half for the river to get back down into it's banks but now it's on the rise again. This has been some year for rain. I just went down into our "lower 40", (back yard), this morning to drag our skids that we use to walk out to our boat back up into the upper yard. The mighty Susquehenna, that runs through our back yard is going up again. Now, my tomato plants are in jeopardy again!
I'll let you know Monday how we are making out here along the river, if we're not washed away by then!
Those of you who are working a business from your homes may want to check out Danny Meehan's monthly special for ads in his monthly tabloid publication at Biz-ness Gazette. After you click on Biz-ness Gazette go to the last link down on the page menu where it say's "Save with this month's Biz-ness Gazette's advertising special and click that to get to the special. It will sure help you save on your advertising budget for this month.
If you are interested in making money from the Internet you can get a FREE Internet Income Course by just clicking here: FREE INTERNET COURSE. If you do nothing else the course alone is worth the click!
I remember years before the TV cable and Satellite hook up we had about 4 channels we could get on our set. All of them were local and only one out of the 4 came in "real clear". I think now, if someone told me you can only have 4 channels but you can choose from what you have now. We'll we're on the basic cable + the higher tier with no premium channels, like HBO.. Hmmmm now let me see.... 4 channels from what we now get.... here's the 4 that I would choose...  1 - The History Channel - 2 - A & E - 3 - TNT - & last but not least 4 - Any one of our three local channels for the local news...  What would yours be? I think I could be quite happy with the above 4 channels..
As much as I just love to shoot the crap, I'm afraid, with a glance at the piles on my desk, for me it's back to work, and YOU, YOU have a GREAT weekend!!!

It's a little bleak outside this morning here in Central Pennsylvania and they are calling for rain off and on all day..... (What's new?)
We did finish all of the "joining packets" for our
http://www.tomdanley.com/ downline building program, Phase IV that ended on September 30th. They were delivered to the post office yesterday afternoon. Those of you who are in Phase IV will see them in a day or two. That's a job and a half and I'm glad we got it done!
Boy this week is really moving fast and I have a whole lot to get done before I get a break for this weekend. At least a break, here in the office.  I sure have plenty to do out doors if the weather will permit. The forecast for the weekend looks a little bleak already but I have my fingers crossed.
I just received my commission check from the
Coin Savers Club program and wow will it ever come in handy this month.... This is the program that I developed the downline builder, 2 Bucks for Success for so you can start for only $2 and use the 2 Bucks for Success to build your downline so when you are ready to join the main program you should be in profit. When I first joined the Coin Savers Club I only ever paid for the first month. From then on I was in profit each month and my commissions paid for my monthly purchase thereafter! Actually I even got back my first month's payment when I received my first commission check for my "fast start" bonuses for the 4 people I singed up the first month. That commission check was for $150 which not only paid for my monthly fee, but also gave me money to promote the program even more. Yes, it's been a little over a year now and that check each month is one of the biggest commission checks I receive from any of my home business programs...
I hate to cut this post a little short today but I'm afraid to get the "joining packets" done and mailed I left everything else go, so now I'll have to play "catch up" before I make my daily trip to the post office...... So for me it's back to work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!

It's starting out with another beautiful sunny morning here in Central Pennsylvania with unsettled weather predicted for this afternoon and evening. Lately that means severe thunderstorms, tornadoes, and in some areas hail. Yes, we're still in our weird weather pattern for Pennsylvania and I think it will probably last into fall..... This summer, as far as the weather goes, has been a real bust!
I still have problems with the darn yellow jacket nest in the "lower forty", (back yard), see the Friday August 6th post. I was down day before yesterday and found more bees around where I plugged the hole to their nest. It looks like their was another hole right beside the stone I had shoved into the original one. So I got my bee killer stuff and sprayed again and jammed another rock into where it looked they were going into the soil. I went down last evening for a check and by darn if there are still bees flying around the same spot although I really could not see any exact spot they were disappearing into the soil. I'll have to have another look-see today when I get a chance.
I'm still working on the "joining letter packages" for our
$2=SUCCESS downline building program, Phase IV that ended on September 30th. There's more work there than what I figured on but all should be in today's mail.
If you like to save money you may want to join a newsletter that I joined a short time ago. It's called The Frugal Life News.
You can subscribe by going to their website at: http://www.thefrugallife.com Of course if you decide later that it's not for you it's not hard to opt out of it. You can also check around their website and get an idea of just what it's all about. There are plenty of money saving tips for all of us and especially those who have children. Anyway have a look if you're interested.
Things have been hectic around my home office lately and sure don't remind me of the "lazy, hazy crazy days of summer", or as I call 'em, The Good Ole Days!
We stopped in the Chinese Grand Buffet in the Harrisburg area yesterday to grab some lunch and was talking to our Chinese friend, Tien Lan, or "Jason" as he goes by here, in America. Jason was telling us about last week when he and his girl friend went to Hershey Park, (Chocolate Town), if you live out of state. He though it was great! It cost $39.95 each to get in and he said they had a GREAT time. I thought that was awfully expensive and he said some things were, what he thought was expensive, one was a coke. A glass of coca-cola cost $3.00! Is is me, or is that ridiculous? I've been a businessman all my life and to me there sure is nothing wrong with "hustling" a profit, but 3 bucks for a glass of coke?????? Ain't that going just a bit too far for a profit?????
Now you're going to here it.... and I can just imagine what you're thinking, we're going to get a dose of the "good ole days." Yep, you're right! Here it is.... when I was a young boy we also used to go to Hershey Park, (a lot.) You could drive your car right down into the park. You could then get out your picnic basket and have a nice lunch right at any of the FREE picnic tables that were available for the visitors convenience! You could take as long as you like and if the kids, (us), wanted to ride any of the rides like the "Blue Streak" roller coaster, (which is still there and operational), you could go on it for 10˘. You could buy one ticket or buy several and just stay on the ride until you were done. (Harley any lines to wait in and if there was, there were only about 10 folks ahead of you.) Mom would give my brother George and I each 50˘ and send us to the "Penny Arcade" and we were "good" for the next couple of hours! Everything in there only cost 1 cent and boy did we have fun! Oh, incidentally, if Mom would allow us the money, and we were tired of the Kool-Aid that always came along on a picnic we could by a coke for a nickel. I modern take that's 5˘! Of course you'd have to let the bottle there it would cost you another 2˘ to take it with you. Not to worry though as you could drop the bottle off at any store and get your 2 pennies back. That was REAL recycling!
After spending time in the park area we could walk up over the hill and go through the Hershey Zoo for FREE! If you wanted to buy some food to feed the animals that was another 2˘. They had actual vending machines that held the food and you put 2 pennies in them to get your ample bag of food for the animals. Just thinking about how much fun we had brings a smile to my face now. Boy I wouldn't mind having a time machine for an hour or so right now.
Oh so many more stories to tell you about "the good old days" at Hershey Park but no more room here.... today.  Now, Hershey is "wall to wall" people and it's everybody's job there to make sure when you leave the park, your wallet is completely empty!
Ah... this reminiscing sure takes up the time and when I glance at the piles on my desk it reminds me that it's time for me to get back to work, and YOU, YOU have a GREAT Wednesday!

It's another beautiful sunny day here in Central Pennsylvania!
After all that rant on Sunday about the Norton software that I got from Ebay, (see yesterday's post), I have heard nothing from Ebay or the Vendor!!!  This is what gets me with them...  You take time to explain to them what happened at this end, mostly poor communication from them, and now we're back to the same darn thing, no communication! I'll let you know if anything happens with them.
I received my Netscape Network Newsletter this morning. This is a great diversified newsletter that has a lot of the latest happenings with Netscape, their browser etc., but also some stuff you'd never think would be in it. As an example how about STRANGE SEX LAWS..  Yep, it's in their newsletter and I'm going to tell you some of them. You won't believe some of them!
In Cali, Colombia, a woman may have sex only with her husband, and the first time this happens, her mother must be in the room to witness the act!
The penalty for pleasuring oneself in Indonesia is decapitation!
In Egypt, a couple can legally divorce by writing "I divorce you, I divorce you, I divorce you!"
In Hong Kong, a betrayed wife is legally permitted to kill her husband, but may do so only with her bare hands. She may kill her husband's lover, on the other hand, in any manner she desires!
In Maryland, it is illegal to sell condoms from vending machines, with one exception: Prophylactics bay be dispensed from a vending machine only "in places where alcoholic beverages are sold for consumption on the premises!"
In Detroit, couples are not allowed to make love in an automobile unless the act takes place while the vehicles is parked on the couple's own property!
In Oxford, Ohio, it's illegal for a woman to strip off her clothing while standing in front of a man's picture!
Can you believe this Kentucky state law? "no female shall appear in a bathing suit on any highway within this state unless she be escorted by at least two officers or unless she be armed with a club!"
The only acceptable sexual position in Washington, D.C., is the missionary position. Any other sexual position is illegal!
In Michigan a woman isn't allowed to cut her own hair without her husband's permission!
In Ventura County, Calif., cats and dogs are not allowed to have sex without a permit.!
In Fairbanks, Alaska, a moose cannot have sex on city streets!
That's enough of those.....  I hope you got a smile from some of them....
You know when you think about it, the above laws are what happens when our law makers have just too much time on their hands!
I hope to finish the "joining letter packages" for our
$2=SUCCESS downline building program, Phase IV that ended on September 30th. They should be in the mail by the end of today.
I won't be getting much done outdoors today here at the Blue Bird cottage as too much to get done in the office unless it's late this evening. So with all that in mind, I guess it's back to work for me and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!

Monday, August 9, 2004

It's a beautiful and sunny here in Central Pennsylvania this morning. It's supposed to get a bit warmer than it was over the weekend that gave us some near record setting low temperatures.
It sure was a great weekend to work outdoors though, and I did take advantage of that. I finished mowing all the lawn, and worked on the truck and the car. I also took some more skids down to the river to walk on as with the water receding, it is getting pretty darn muddy along the shore. I was so busy yesterday that I really wore myself out an I slept in this morning!
I finally had my first bad experience ordering a product from the Internet. A few weeks ago I was being reminded on a daily basis that my Norton Anti-Virus automatic updates feature was going to run out on August 2nd. Rather than renew the service over the web I usually just buy the latest Norton program and install it over the old one which gives me another year of the auto updates. Normally I get it at Sam's Club and for about $40 and they usually have a rebate on the package for $20 and it ends up costing me about $20 bucks plus tax. However, this year Sam's has the software alright, but no rebate. So I went online and found a good offer on Ebay that came to a little over $20 with shipping and all so I ordered it. PayPal sent me a confirmation Email that the item was paid for and as I didn't have enough in my PayPal account they would take the balance from my checking account. So I grabbed my check book and made a note of it.
The vendor was in Maryland, right below Pennsylvania so I figured it would only take a few days for my software to arrive. 2 weeks passed and nothing. Now it was August 3rd so my subscription ran out. I emailed the vendor and told them that I wasn't trying to be pushy but that I needed to know when the software would arrive here. They wrote me back and said that they hadn't shipped the software as I hadn't paid them as of yet! I had printed out a copy of the PayPal confirmation so I scanned it, put it as an attachment and sent it to them along with a message that if there was still any problem after they checked with PayPal to get back to me. (I would have then sent them a money order to speed things up.) I heard nothing from them so when Saturday the 7th arrived I just went out and bought a copy. I was getting desperate! Then, finally, yesterday, on Sunday I got this message from Ebay,
"No action is being taken against your account at this time. However, it is important to remember that when you bid on or buy an item you are agreeing to a contract between you and the seller. If the situation isn't resolved within 7 days of this reminder email, you may receive an Unpaid Item strike under eBay's Unpaid Item Policy."
With a strike like that against me it would mean that anyone that sells at Ebay would be apprehensive about selling me anything for fear that they would not get paid for it!
What a mess... looks like I may have to buy another copy of the Norton Anti-Virus software just to keep a good name.
Point here being is that if you order something from the Internet, don't wait 2 weeks to check why you haven't received it. Follow up on it right away, even if it looks like you are a pushy customer.. Better that then to end up the way I did.
Today I'll be working on running statements and getting "join packets" together to be mailed for the
$2=SUCCESS downline building program, Phase IV that ended on September 30th. Plus, there's a few things that I must finish before my trip to the post office. So, as I look around my desks with the expanding piles on them, for me it's back to work, and YOU, YOU have a GREAT Monday!!!

T.G.I.F
It's an absolutely beautiful day here in Central Pennsylvania. It's actually chilly! The temps are in the 60's ..... hard to believe for the first week in August! We gave away our furnace yesterday and today it's cold. Go figure.
I told Betty that we better get our behinds in gear and start shopping for a new furnace. It seems like Summer just got here and we're already in the last month of it! Next month will be Fall!
I did get a chance to mow the "lower forty", (back yard along the river), yesterday afternoon. I couldn't get the last 10 feet toward the river as it's still too muddy because the river is still ebbing back into it's banks. I did find out, the hard way, that a nest of yellow jackets, (bees), had set up a community in an old mole hole since I last mowed down there. I was in my shorts mowing away and my mind was of course thinking of something else until I was brought back by searing pain in my legs. It felt like someone was sticking red hot pins in them. Geez.... I looked down and my legs were becoming covered with yellow jackets! I left go of the mower immediately and it automatically shut off and I was out of there flailing at the damn bees! (I know, you'd love a picture of that wouldn't you?) By the time I'd reached the back deck all the bees were gone and I had time to  examine the damage. It was not a pretty site and I was pretty much in agony. I came in the back door and started to moan to Betty who went and got me some cotton and a bottle of alcohol, no, not the kind you drink! It was rubbing alcohol. I covered my legs and the bites with that and it sure did alleviate the pain a great deal.
I put on long pants and found an old long sleeved work shirt and put that on. I was getting ready to do battle. The enemy had already captured my lawnmower and I was determined to not only get it back but to finish the job I'd started. I found about a third of a can of "hornet killer", I figured if it was good enough for hornets it would have to be good enough for my darn yellow jackets. I also got some insect repellant and sprayed myself all over with that. I also went over to a tree and found a nice flat stone to seal the ground nest if I could get close enough to do it. Now I was ready for my attack! I went down to the battlefield, (the lower forty), and stayed back about 12 feet to observe. The bees were coming and going to this clump which I immediately assumed was the entry hole to their nest. I snuck up and sprayed them the best I could with the hornet spray and then ran over, slapped the stone over the hole and stomped it in good and solid. Then, over course, I ran back a few paces. The bees started to show up again and boy were they mad when they found out that they could not get back in. I waited 'til a bunch of them were there and gave them another shot of the hornet spray. I then recovered my mower, fired it up and went back to my job... I finished up, gave them one more shot of the spray and was "out of there"....  I haven't checked this morning but I have a notion they may be hunting for another place to live. My only problem was that after I was done I was really hot and sweating with all the extra clothing on! The battle of the yellow jackets was over, and although the bee bites still hurt a little this morning, I think I won!!!
I had a nice mail day here a my home office yesterday and am still opening and sorting. By the looks of the piles accumulating on my desks I'd better get back to work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT weekend!!!

Wow, did we have a storm and a half here in Central Pennsylvania yesterday evening. Harrisburg, our Pennsylvania Capital city, which is only about a 15 minute drive from our place was proclaimed a "Disaster Area" by Mayor Stephen Reed! Click here for more of this latest tragedy in our area: "Another Wild One"
This morning the sun is out and in, but the humidity has gone done to "livable" and it's a lot cooler outdoors. Enough so that our air conditioners are off and the screen doors are open. Looks like we're in for a GREAT weekend, weather-wise, as well! The bad news is, the river that runs though our back yard is on it's way back up. It's 6 feet now and is supposed to crest at the "cautionary stage" which is 11 feet. Here goes another round of trying to save my tomatoes!
Mike, the cop, hasn't yet showed up for our stoker stove as of yet but should be here this morning. It's about a 3 and one half hour drive from his home to ours and he must run to the big city, (Harrisburg), before he comes here. We will then disassemble the stoker while he's here so he know how to put it back together when he gets home. He'll be taking some pictures of it with his digital camera so he'll be able to see what goes where as well. That was my idea... I figured the pictures would make a good reference and when he's done with 'em all he has to do is delete them.
I will be working on our
$2=SUCCESS downline building program today as well as I'm developing some new marketing materials for it. It's working just fine but a little fresh stuff never hurts....  I'll be testing it over the next few weeks before letting it out to our members... If you're a member keep checking here to find out when they are ready and I'll have them on the Web as well for FREE download.
Well, with Mike on his way and a lot to get ready before my daily trip to the post office, for me it's back to work, and YOU, YOU have a GREAT Thursday!!!!

It's another beautiful but very warm humid day, here at the Blue Bird Cottage in Central Pennsylvania....
I went out on the back deck this morning to watch the river a bit and sip my coffee. The river is finally receding back down into it's banks.. For awhile there it was touch and go. You can see the high water pictures here. Hopefully maybe we can dry out for a few days before the next deluge of rain hits us.
Betty's grandson, Mike, the cop, will be here tomorrow to pick up our stoker stove. Yes the one we use to heat the place. We got it about 10 years ago and it's done a pretty good job all that time. It still works well but now they have later models out that throws more heat and will stay lit longer in a warm situation, etc. In other words, it's time for an upgrade. When we have really cold days or nights the stoker just won't quite keep up and we have to light kerosene heaters to make up the difference. We're always very careful with them and never let them unattended but they are a lot of work and trouble. We're just getting a little too old to keep up with it so hopefully we'll be able to find a later stoker that will do the job much better for us.... At least that's are plan.  Mike and his wife, Missy, just bought a home up in the upper part of Pennsylvania where he is Police Chief and their furnace conked out this past Spring so we're giving our old one to them..  He should be able to get a good bit of use out of it before it's ready for the scrap heap. As it was manufactured up in Bloomsburg Pennsylvania all the parts for it are still available and you can get them with a phone call and have them the next day by UPS.
I know it seems dumb talking about heating plants this time of the year but let's face it, we're in August now already, heck next month is Fall! Time to start thinking about Winter heating around here. If you're in Florida or California you're probably laughing at us here in good ole PA. But we do have our 4 seasons here and although I do love them, they do take some extra time and work.
Our
$2=SUCCESS downline building program for the Tape of the Month business has on the first of this month, August, begun it's fifth phase downline builder and the new circular is up on the WEB. For those of you who are in the program and want to get an early start with your promotions before you send in your $2 for this phase you can get a copy of the new circular with a blank sponsor's section by clicking here: Dealer's Copy of New Circular. Those of you who were in Phase IV will be receiving joining packets with downline reports with in the next 2 weeks. Hopefully a little sooner.
Well, by the looks of the piles on my desks, for me I'd better get back to work, and YOU, YOU have a GREAT Wednesday!!!

It's another sunny but warm and humid morning here in Central Pennsylvania and it looks like it's going to be a GREAT day with NO rain for a change...  Great, we need several days like this just to get dried out a bit.
I swear some of my mail gets funnier every day. Several weeks ago I received a letter that had 2 - $1 bills wrapped up in a piece of paper with a note that someone had scribbled on it, "Send me your program". That's great but the only problem is they never mentioned which program but more important there was no return address nor was there an address written on the paper! So, I did the only thing that I could and that was to "put it aside"..  However, yesterday I got another letter, I forgot to mention that it was postmarked from a town in Oregon, that had the same postmark. This letter also had a note in it that was quite a bit longer than the first. It basically said that they had not received their order from me and that it's been almost a month and if I didn't send it soon they wanted their money back immediately! You guessed it, no return address and no address on the note! Not even a name or a nick name.....  It's not that hard to believe that someone could make a mistake and forget the return address the first time, one time maybe, but to compound it a second time takes a special kind of person don't you think?????
So I filed the second letter along with the first and all I can do is wait for another complaint and hopefully one that will have their address with it.
Goes to show you, always use a return address! I'm not a fan of sending cash through the mail, but to send cash without a return address is just "doubly stupid!." There are many things that could happen to an envelope that could stop it from reaching it's destination and without a return address it would eventually just get tossed by the post office.
I remember about 15 years ago I sent $2 cash to a woman for a booklet that she had advertised. I never heard from her and thought that she had just taken my 2 bucks. But about 6 years later I received a little plastic bag from the post office with my letter in it with a note apologizing and telling me that my letter had got caught in one of their machines and that they had disassembled to junk and found the letter in the bottom of it. I opened my old letter and sure enough there was my 2 bucks still in it! All those years I had blamed that poor woman for something she did not do.  I really felt bad.... Just goes to show you....
Well here I am running on again. I do have plenty to do before my daily trip to the post office so for me it's back to work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT day!!!!

It's a bright sunny but very warm and humid morning here in Central Pennsylvania at the start of a brand new month. Geez.... it looks like summer is drawing to a close and it seems like it's just arrived....  I don't think we've ever moved out of Spring mode here this year. It seems like it rains every other day...  Speaking of the rain and flooding I was writing about on Friday, we did have rain over the weekend and the river has not gone down but it hasn't come up that much either. I just checked with the Penn State river watch and they are calling for it to start to recede and continue to do so over the next several days. Hot dog! Looks like my tomato plants will get a reprieve and live after all. It was touch an go there for awhile. They have plenty of green tomatoes on them and are just about to start coming in, I'd sure hate to lose them back to "Mother Nature."
As the river is high, yesterday we had plenty of young folks out on the river speeding around on their "jet skis." Man, those things must go at least 60 miles per hour. The one guy was really showing off and threw himself off the darn thing twice that I saw. They must tether themselves fast to it as each time he got right back on it. The river, being so high has a really fast current and he had no trouble at all not separating himself from his vehicle. Actually there were only a few boats, no canoes or kayaks, only a few of the larger boats with large motors. The river is just too darn fast for the smaller bass boats and smaller crafts. We've lived here along the mighty Susquehenna River for over 20 years and we've had quite a few people lose their lives to the river within a mile upstream and a mile downstream with a least one so close that you can see from our back yard where he went under! The game and fish commission can pass all the laws they want but it won't stop stupid people from doing stupid things out on the river! There will always be someone who's had a bit too much to drink or just plain does not follow the common sense rules of the river to survive. Unfortunately.
Betty and I worked Saturday Evening and all day yesterday to finish the
Once A Month Association stuff that had to be done by the end of the month. If you're a member you will receive your new Quarter Dealer Directory, Monthly Member Benefit Directory, Newsletter, Monthly Statement, and of course commission check if you have one coming within the next couple of days. I've glad that's caught up as it's a real job and a half.
I did let some other stuff that was supposed to go out in today's mail go to get the OAMA stuff done so as I look around my desks I think I'd better get back to work and YOU, YOU have a GREAT Monday and a Very Prosperous new month!!!
